  • Publication number: 20120214376
Abstract: A method includes outputting a semi-product of a core material for a gypsum board from a mixing tank. High-molecular adhesive is coated on inner faces of first and second outer layers that are bonded to two sides of the semi-product with the inner faces of the first and second outer layers engaged with the sides of the semi-product of the core material. After taking shape, the semi-product is severed and dried to obtain the core material for the gypsum board with the high-molecular adhesive forming high-molecular bonding layers between the core material and the first and second outer layers. The resultant gypsum board includes a core material and first and second outer layers securely bonded to two sides of the core material by high-molecular bonding layers formed by the high-molecular adhesive. Thus, the first and second outer layers are less likely to peel from the core material.

  • Publication number: 20110005585
Abstract: The present invention discloses a laser-scribing method to make a bifacial thin film solar cell and the structure thereof. The laser-scribing method is to form scribing patterns that penetrate different structural layers during the process of forming various structural layers. After the laser-scribing, the top solar cell unit is attached with the bottom solar cell unit by various combining steps to form a solar cell assembly. The solar cell assembly can receive light from both sides via the absorber layers of both of the top solar cell unit and the bottom solar cell unit. The solar cell assembly has an increased output efficiency and a greater power density and the cost of the manufacturing is therefore reduced.

  • Publication number: 20080050769
Abstract: This invention disclosed a method to detect bioparticles in the biological samples (stools, urine, or other body fluids). Bioparticles (e.g. virus, bacteria, and cells) often serve as carrier/indicator of pathogens and/or toxins. The method employs a substrate with interlaced comb-like electrodes on which a certain amount of sample mixed with antibodies-coated gold nanoparticles is dropped. Then the alternative signals with specific frequency bands are applied on the comb-like electrodes so that under such a DEP force the Au-modified bioparticles can be separated from the other constituents of the sample and can be absorbed effectively onto the edges of the electrodes. After rinsed with water to remove the residual sample several times, the device will be measured for the impedance of the absorbed bioparticles on the edges of the electrodes. The measured impedance deviation in comparison with that of the reference empty comb-like electrodes will quantify the amount of the absorbed bioparticles.
