  • Publication number: 20200122711
Abstract: An unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) includes one or more motors configured to drive one or more wheels of the UGV, an obstacle sensor, a memory storing instructions, and a processor coupled to the one or more motors, the obstacle sensor, and the memory. The processor is configured to execute the instructions to cause the UGV to obtain location information of multiple navigation points; calculate a navigation path based on the obtained location information; drive the one or more motors to navigate the UGV along the navigation path; detect, by the obstacle sensor, whether one or more obstacles exist while navigating the UGV, and if detected, determine location information of the one or more obstacles; and if the one or more obstacles are detected by the obstacle sensor, update the navigation path based on determined location information of the one or more obstacles.

  • Publication number: 20120296563
Abstract: A real-time point of interest (POI) suggesting method is provided. In the method, present waiting time at several candidate POIs is obtained respectively right when an electronic apparatus is detected leaving an exit of a visited POI. Moving time for heading respectively for the candidate POIs from the visited POI is obtained. A suggested POI is selected from the candidate POIs according to the present waiting time and the moving time. Information of the suggested POI is transmitted to the electronic apparatus. The electronic apparatus outputs the information of the suggested POI. A computer readable storage medium with a computer program to execute the method and a real-time POI suggesting system are also provided.

  • Patent number: 7966367
Abstract: A web application execution method, for a client to execute a web application on a remote server is provided. A connection status between the client and the remote server is monitored. If the connection is established, an online learning process is performed to monitor the handshakes between the client and the server, thereby constructing a virtual server. If the connection is disconnected, an offline service is activated, allowing the client to execute the web application through the virtual server. If the connection is reestablished after being disconnected, a synchronization process is performed to synchronize state machines within the virtual server and the server.
