  • Patent number: 8269411
Abstract: A display device and a method of manufacturing the same are provided. The display device includes an illuminate unit and a color filter. The illuminate unit has a light-emitting chip and a plurality of quantum dot phosphors for generating a color light which has an optical spectrum including the first blue peak wavelength, a first green peak wavelength, and a first red peak wavelength. The color filter is disposed in the light path of the color light, wherein the color filter has a transmittance spectrum having a second blue peak wavelength, a second green peak wavelength, and a second red peak wavelength. The first blue peak wavelength, the first green peak wavelength, and the first red peak wavelength respectively match the second blue peak wavelength, the second green peak wavelength, and the second red peak wavelength in order to enhance the color performance of the display device.

  • Publication number: 20110112970
Abstract: Embodiments of a secure method to access a de-identified database on a website are described. A dual-portal web-based system is implemented that provides healthcare related information to healthcare users through a first website, and registry/management tools to care providers through a second website. No identifiable fields relating to the user are stored or accessible in the database of the first website. All user information is de-identified by total exclusion from the database. A re-identification process allows an authorized care provider view his or her clients in combination with registered personal information from the system. An alliance-based identification (ABID) key is used to index both the individually identifiable information and the personal health data/information that are stored in separate databases. A token generation process generates tokens that allow different ABID keys to be generated for use with different care providers through a single user account.

Abstract: Embodiments of a secure method to access a de-identified database on a website are described. A care alliance is formed between a patient and a care provider. A dual-portal web-based system is implemented that provides healthcare related information to healthcare users through a first website, and registry/management tools to care providers through a second website. No identifiable fields relating to the user are stored or accessible in the database of the first website. All user information is de-identified by total exclusion from the database. • Publication number: 20080189443
Abstract: A wireless communication device includes an RF module, an audio-processing module, a receiving/transmitting module and a housing. The RF module connected wireless with a notebook computer is used for receiving/transmitting an RF data signal and converting the RF data signal into a respective digital audio signal. The audio-processing module is used to perform bi-directional conversion between digital audio signals and analog audio signals. The receiving/transmitting module is used to input or output the analog audio signals. The housing is used to integrate structurally the RF module, the audio-processing module and the receiving/transmitting module so as to appear the wireless communication device a size as a typical computer memory cartridge that can be accommodated inside a memory extension slot of the notebook computer.
