Abstract: A camera module includes a casing, a lens assembly, a sensing chip assembly and a filter element. The casing has an opening. The lens assembly is disposed within the casing. The sensing chip assembly is connected with the lens assembly. The filter element is located near the opening and arranged in front of the lens assembly. The filter element is used for filtering ambient light beams. The first-wavelength beams of the ambient light beams are transmissible through the filter element. The second-wavelength beams of the ambient light beams are filtered off by the filter element. Due to the arrangement of the filter element, the second-wavelength beams are not projected to the driver's eyes.

Abstract: An image pickup device includes a camera module and an automatic cleaning assembly. The automatic cleaning assembly includes a first rotation structure, a second rotation structure and a motive power source. A first end of a light-transmissible film is connected with the first rotation structure. A second end of the light-transmissible film is connected with the second rotation structure. The motive power source drives the rotation of at least one of the first rotation structure and the second rotation structure. As the at least one of the first rotation structure and the second rotation structure is rotated, the light-transmissible film is correspondingly moved. Consequently, the front side of the camera module is covered by a clean segment of the light-transmissible film.

The shooting module and the control circuit module are located in the protection housing. The protection housing has a hollow sleeve, and the hollow sleeve is in communication with an internal space and an external space of the protection housing. The control circuit module includes a connection end circuit board and an electrical connector. One end of the electrical connector is connected to and disposed on the connection end circuit board, and the other end of the electrical connector runs through the hollow sleeve, so as to be engaged with an electronic element.
