Patent number: 7255594Abstract: A connector for FPC board includes an insulating housing and a cover plate. The insulating housing has a receiving space for receiving an FPC board, a plurality of passageways, and two guiding channels. A plurality of terminals is received in the corresponding passageways. Each terminal has a contact portion and a pressing portion. The cover plate has two rotational shafts put into the corresponding guiding channels, whereby the two rotational shafts are rotatable in and slidable along the guiding channels. When the cover plate is rotated to a horizontal position, the rear end of the cover plate lies to the front of the pressing portions of the terminals. Then, when the rotational shafts together with the cover plate are horizontally slid from front to rear, the cover plate is inserted between the pressing portions and the FPC board, and the pressing portions press the cover plate against the FPC board, and the cover plate presses the FPC board against the contact portions of the terminals.Type: GrantFiled: December 19, 2005Date of Patent: August 14, 2007Assignee: Cheng Uei Precision Industry Co., Ltd.Inventors: Chung-Shin Huang, Yi Chiu Kao, Yungchi Peng

Patent number: 7223108Abstract: A dustproof receptacle connector includes a dielectric housing, a plurality of female contacts disposed in the housing, and a slider unit installed in the housing. The housing has a receiving cavity with a front opening defined in a front surface thereof, and a pair of mounting holes defined in a rear wall of the housing communicating with the receiving cavity. The slider unit includes a dustproof cover slidably received in the receiving cavity for sealing the front opening and a pair of springs disposed on the dustproof cover. A pair of longitudinal pillars extending backwards from the dustproof cover, with the free end of each pillar slidably disposed in the corresponding mounting hole of the housing. Each spring is retained on the corresponding longitudinal pillar, with one end thereof abutting against the dustproof cover and the other end thereof abutting against the rear wall of the housing.Type: GrantFiled: December 19, 2005Date of Patent: May 29, 2007Assignee: Cheng Uei Precision Industry Co., Ltd.Inventors: Shu Man Chiang, Chung Hsin Huang, Yi Chiu Kao, Yu-Hung Su

Patent number: 7156687Abstract: An insulation displacement connection (IDC) connector assembly includes an IDC connector and external cables. The cables are inserted in the IDC connector through passageways disposed in a surface of the IDC-connector to be terminated to the IDC connector. A positioning recess is defined in the top surface of the IDC connector corresponding to each cable and each communicates with the corresponding passageway and is exposed to surfaces adjacent to the surface mentioned above.Type: GrantFiled: December 19, 2005Date of Patent: January 2, 2007Assignee: Cheng Uei Precision Industry Co., Ltd.Inventors: Shu Man Chiang, Chung Hsin Huang, Yi Chiu Kao, Yu Hung Su

Patent number: 7077664Abstract: A module connector includes an insulated component, a plurality of contacts inside the module connector and a housing shell outside of the module connector. The insulated component has four sidewalls that define an inserting space to receive another module. Each sidewall has a plurality of contacts parallel L-shaped slots to accommodate the contacts that are electrically connected with the outside module. The housing shell has four side containing walls. A pressing pin and an elastic pin are extended from the top of each side-containing wall towards the inserting space. The pressing pins prop downwardly the outside module.Type: GrantFiled: March 8, 2005Date of Patent: July 18, 2006Assignee: Cheng Uei Precision Industry Co., Ltd.Inventors: Chin Chou Wang, Yi Chiu Kao, Chung Hsin Huang

Patent number: 7077680Abstract: The present invention provides a module connector including a housing having four sidewalls that define a chamber for receiving a module therein. Each sidewall defines a plurality of contact recesses. A plurality of contacts is accommodated in the contact recesses and electrically contact with the module. A pivotal cover has a top pressing cover, at least a pivotal arm and at least a locking claw extending downwardly from the top pressing cover. The pivotal arm pivotally mounts the pivotal cover on the housing to enable the pivotal cover to pivot between an open position to enable the module to be inserted in the chamber and a closed position with the top pressing cover pressing downwardly on the top of the module to prevent the module from being pulled out. The locking claw latches the pivotal cover in the closed position.Type: GrantFiled: March 8, 2005Date of Patent: July 18, 2006Assignee: Cheng Uei Precision Industry Co., Ltd.Inventors: Chin Chou Wang, Yi Chiu Kao, Chung Hsin Huang

Patent number: 7033208Abstract: A flexible printed circuit connector includes a housing with contact chambers for receiving a plurality of contacts. The housing sets engagement recesses, first sliding grooves and protrusions on both side surfaces thereof. A bottom cover is mounted on the housing at the underside thereof to define a first receiving space for receiving a first flexible printed circuit. A top cover is mounted on the housing on the top thereof to define a second receiving space for containing a second flexible printed circuit. The top cover is engaged with the bottom cover to retain the two flexible printed circuits reliably and precisely.Type: GrantFiled: March 7, 2005Date of Patent: April 25, 2006Assignee: Cheng Uei Precision Industry Co., Ltd.Inventors: Chung Hsin Huang, Yi Chiu Kao, Yung Chi Peng

Patent number: 6814597Abstract: A Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) card connector with ejector includes a housing, a plurality of contacts which is brought into contact with an external contact of the card inserted in the housing, and an ejector. The housing forms a card receiving space on one side for containing the SIM card and an ejector receiving groove on the other side for containing the ejector. The ejector comprises a slider which moves in the direction of card insertion or ejection, a push rod, and a lever. The slider has a push portion extending into the card receiving space. The lever can pivot in the groove. One side of the lever separately engages with the push rod and can be pushed to rotate by the push rod. The other side of the lever engages with the slider, therefore the slider can be driven to slide when the lever rotates.Type: GrantFiled: September 22, 2003Date of Patent: November 9, 2004Assignee: Cheng Uei Precision Industry Co., Ltd.Inventor: Yi Chiu Kao
