  • Patent number: 8076855
Abstract: A light device includes a nightlight unit adapted to operate in an automatic mode, an on mode, or an off mode; an illumination unit comprising a sensor, the illumination unit being removably secured to the nightlight unit; and a charging unit for charging the illumination unit. The lighting unit is adapted to come on automatically by operating in the automatic mode, continuously emit light by operating in the on mode, or stop emitting light by operating in the off mode. The illumination unit is adapted to come on automatically to emit light either when the sensor senses an activating condition in the form of an absence of AC or after removing from the nightlight unit. The sensor is adapted to disable the illumination unit either when sensing a termination of the activating condition or after placing the illumination unit in the nightlight unit and electrically connecting thereto.

  • Patent number: 7511579
Abstract: A PLL is provided, comprising a first divider, a PFD, a loop filter, a VCO, a second divider and a controller. The first divider receives a reference signal and divides the reference signal by R to obtain a divided signal. The PFD compares the divided signal and a feedback signal to generate a compared The VCO selects one of a plurality of operating curves for oscillation based on a selection signal, and generates an oscillation signal based on an operating voltage generated by signal the loop filter. The second divider divides the oscillation signal by N to obtain the feedback signal. The controller operates in an initial mode to recursively determine the selection signal by calculating differences of the feedback signal and the divided signal. When the selection signal converges to stable, the PLL switches to a normal mode to operate on the corresponding operating curve.

  • Patent number: 7348534
Abstract: An active pixel element of an image sensor array includes a sensor, a transfer transistor, a reset transistor, and a source follower. There is a column-read transistor positioned in each column of the image sensor array for controlling the read signals. When the sensor is reset, all column-read transistors are turned off while the transfer transistor and the reset transistor are turned on. When a reset signal is read and all column-read transistors are still turned off, the reset transistor is turned on so as to generate the same reset reference voltage when the sensor is reset. In this way, there is no difference in reset reference voltage between each column and between each row for the image sensor array.

  • Publication number: 20080008467
Abstract: An omni-directional surveillance network video camera has a block base, a revolving base and a lens base. The revolving base is pivoted on a top of the block base. A revolving controller is mounted inside the block base and controls the revolving base to revolve relative to the block base. The revolving base includes a pair of pivoting arms and a shell sandwiched between the pivoting arms. The lens base is pivoted between the pivoting arms of the revolving base. A rotating controller is mounted inside the lens base and controls the lens base to rotate relative to the revolving base. Thus the omni-directional surveillance network video camera can be adjusted to nearly monitor all positions.

  • Publication number: 20050270377
Abstract: A connecting configuration of a remote camera includes a camera and an extension line connected to the camera. The camera has a PCB with a connector formed at the PCB. The extension line has a housing at one end thereof and a complementary connector at the other end thereof for connecting with the connector of the PCB. An RJ-45 port and a DC port are disposed in the housing and respectively connecting with the extension line. Signals from the RJ-45 port and the DC port are transmitted to the connector of the PCB through the extension line. Therefore the RJ-45 port and the DC port are separated from the camera for facilitating to reduce the volume of the camera.

  • Publication number: 20050035858
Abstract: A monitoring system includes a digital image-taking apparatus and a sensing unit. The sensing unit detects any moving object within a monitored area and sends an image-taking signal to a processing unit of the digital image-taking apparatus for the same to take or record pictures of the monitored area. A timing unit adds time indications to the pictures taken or recorded by the digital image-taking apparatus before a memory unit stores digital image signals of the taken or recorded pictures. With the above arrangements, setup cost for the monitoring system and space for storing the images may be largely reduced, and unnecessary waste of useless recording may be avoided.
