  • Publication number: 20120111390
Abstract: A highly concentrating solar power generation and thermal collection apparatus includes a multi-coated lens capable of reflecting UV light and visible light and allowing infrared light to transmit therethrough, a lens located at one side of the multi-coated lens for collecting and then concentrating sunlight on the multi-coated lens, a solar cell located on a light reflection path of the multi-coated lens for collecting the UV light and visible light reflected by the multi-coated lens, and a thermal collection unit located at a light transmission path of the multi-coated lens for collecting the infrared light transmitted through the multi-coated lens. The multi-coated lens can be differently designed to change its light reflecting and transmitting function while the locations for the solar cell and the thermal collection unit are exchanged accordingly. Therefore, the apparatus is able to generate power and collect thermal energy from sunlight at the same time.

  • Patent number: 7783853
Abstract: A method of operating real-time middleware associated with at least one node of a data distribution system is provided. At least one pool of a plurality of fixed block size units of memory of the node is allocated (e.g., via an operating system call). Based on loan requests for dynamic memory elements on behalf of a user application executing on the node, an indication of at least one of the allocated fixed block size units to be lent is provided. A list of which allocated fixed block size units are being lent from the pool is maintained, including maintaining the list based on return requests, on behalf of the user application executing on the node, of fixed block size units of the pool. Substantially all of the dynamic memory elements of the real-time middleware associated with the node are provided from the at least one pool of allocated fixed block size units based on the loan requests on behalf of the user application.

  • Publication number: 20100045889
Abstract: A fastening device is provided for fastening at least one article on a carrier. The fastening device includes at least one positioning component, a fixed plate fixed on the carrier, and a pressing plate positioned on the fixed plate by the positioning component. The pressing plate has at least one positioned portion and a retaining plate corresponding to the fixed plate. The retaining plate abuts against a side edge of the article for preventing the article from moving along a first direction. The positioning component movably passes through the positioned portion to allow the pressing plate to selectively move along the first direction and be positioned on the fixed plate for adjusting the distance between the retaining plate and the fixed plate.

  • Publication number: 20060042290
Abstract: This split-type room air conditioner absorbs the advantages of current split air conditioner and room air conditioner models. Our innovation makes it possible for a split air conditioner to be used in apartments and condominiums. We improved both air conditioner unit disadvantages. For example, a split air conditioner indoor unit is very flexible so that you can hang it up in the right place to get a good cooling balance, but the outdoor unit has a big size and is not feasible as a typical room air conditioner. And room air conditioners have a good size to fit pre-constructed apertures and window places, but only can be put in limited places (low level places), thus creating a cooling imbalance in the room and making too much noise. We did technological innovations to combine the advantages of both type air conditioners. We reduced the outdoor unit size thickness by ?. We have enhanced the cooling speed and reduced the noise level (db) of our room unit.

  • Patent number: 4678847
Abstract: The present invention relates to the process for preparing terpolymer of tetrafluoroethylene (TFE), ethylene (E), and a third monomer. According to the present invention, dicarbonate peroxide is used as initiator, 1,1,2-trichloro-1,2,2-trifluoro-ethane as the reaction medium and compounds of molecular formula C.sub.n R.sub.2n+2, wherein, n=0,1, or 2;R=H, Cl or F, are gaseous chain telomeric agents to control the average molecular weight of copolymers, the formula of third monomer is CF.sub.2 XCOCF.sub.2 X' or ##STR1## wherein X=X'=Cl or F, R.sub.1 =CF.sub.3 or CH.sub.3,R.sub.2 =CF.sub.3, CH.sub.3 or H, and R.sub.3 =H or F, usually the molar ratio of TFE to E is from 60:40 to 40:60 with the content of the third monomer being from 0.1% to 10%, based on the total molar amount of TFE and E.
