Abstract: A vibration filter that eliminates the problems of polarization, blockage and fouling is disclosed to include a separation membrane for removing solid matter in a fluid, a base, a magnetic field generator controllable to provide a variable magnetic flux, and vibrators made by a magnetostrictive material and arranged in an array on the base and kept in close contact with the separation membrane for vibrating the separation membrane upon generation of a variable magnetic flux by the magnetic field generator.

Abstract: An address generator applied to a convolutional interleaver/deinterleaver generates an address for reading/storing data symbols from/to a memory. The memory conceptually divides into branches, segments and cells. The address generator maintains cyclic counters including a cyclic branch counter, a cyclic cell counter, N cyclic segment counters for counting the branch, segment and cell for generating the address. The address generator also comprising a processor generates an address according to the values of the cyclic branch counter, the cyclic cell counter, and N segment counters for indicating a memory cell for reading and storing data symbols.

Abstract: A method and system for locating packet boundaries in a bit stream. The method comprises generating a checksum from a first bit stream, and recovering the first bit stream according an intermediate result which is generated during the checksum processing. The step of generating the checksum comprises dividing the first bit stream by a first polynomial to obtain a second bit stream, delaying the second bit stream by a first delay amount to form a third bit stream, multiplying the third bit stream by a second polynomial to obtain a fourth bit stream, adding the second and fourth bit streams to form a fifth bit stream, and correlating the fifth bit stream with a preset pattern to output a sync signal. The input bit stream can be recovered according to the third bit stream. The sync signal indicates the location of the packet boundary in the delayed first bit stream.
