    Abstract: A computer-implemented method for predicting customer sentiment for a product is provided. Customer data is received for multiple products and a vector of customer sentiments is generated that is associated with different aspects of the products. Images are received for multiple products and a latent vector for the images are generated using a pre-trained image processing model. Textual description for products is received and a latent vector for the textual description is generated using a pre-trained natural language processing model. A deep multimodal design evaluation (DMDE) model is designed to integrate the latent vectors of the images and the textual descriptions to predict customer sentiment for new product designs based on their images and textual descriptions. A new product design is provided to the trained DMDE model to obtain predicted customer sentiments for one or more attributes or a new product design is generated with favorable predicted customer sentiments.

    Abstract: A method for controlling a wind turbine to decrease blade deflection during tower passage is disclosed. A blade flap moment of the wind turbine blades is measured. A blade flap moment of the wind turbine blades and a rotor tilt moment in a situation where the pitch offset has not been added are estimated, based on the measured blade flap moment. In the case that the estimated blade flap moment exceeds a first activation threshold value and the estimated rotor tilt moment exceeds a second activation threshold value, individual pitch angle adjustment of the wind turbine blades is initiated by adding a pitch offset, at azimuth angles within an azimuth adjustment region corresponding to tower passage of the wind turbine blades.

    Abstract: This application is directed to controlling bandwidths of clock recovery circuit in an electronic device. The electronic device includes a clock recovery circuit and a bandwidth controller coupled to the clock recovery circuit. The clock recovery circuit is configured to receive a data signal carrying a stream of data bits according to a reference clock frequency and recover a clock signal from the data signal. The bandwidth controller is configured to control the clock recovery circuit to start with a pull-in bandwidth, settle at a target bandwidth, and apply an intermediate bandwidth between the pull-in bandwidth and target bandwidth. The intermediate bandwidth is greater than the target bandwidth and less than the pull-in bandwidth. In some implementations, the bandwidth controller controls the clock recovery circuit to apply one or more additional bandwidths to the clock signal after the pull-in bandwidth and the intermediate bandwidth and before the target bandwidth.
