    Abstract: A method of processing a source signal received from a source device by an electronic device is provided. The electronic device receives the source signal from a source interface of the source device at a signal interface of the electronic device. The signal interface includes a plurality of signal pins. The electronic device detects at least one specific signal level in a plurality of signal levels of the source signal by at least one first specific signal pin in the plurality of signal pins and determines, based on the at least one specific signal level, whether to switch an operation mode of at least one second specific signal pin in the plurality of signal pins to receive the source signal.

    Abstract: An electronic device is powered by a first power supply and connected to an external device powered by a second power supply. The electronic device comprises a master controller, a conversion module, and a detection module. The master controller outputs first information. The conversion module converts the first information into second information based on a first voltage from the first power supply and a second voltage from the second power supply to control the external device to execute corresponding functions. The detection module is connected with the first power supply and the conversion module, and generates a pull-up voltage when the voltage of the second power supply is in an abnormal state. The conversion module further converts the first information into a second information based on the voltage of the first power supply and the pull-up voltage. The pull-up voltage is larger than the first voltage.

    Abstract: A displaying method of an on screen display (OSD) system is provided. The method is used in a computer system which includes a host and a display device. The display device has a screen, a display micro-processor and a storage unit. An original OSD parameter is stored in the storage unit. The method includes the following steps. Firstly, an OSD compiler is provided in a host for being displayed on the screen. Next, after a user adjusts the display characteristics of the OSD, the OSD compiler generates a modified OSD parameter. Then, the modified OSD parameter is inputted to the display micro-processor. Next, the modified OSD parameter is stored to the storage unit by the display micro-processor. Lastly, when the screen re-displays the OSD, the OSD is displayed on the screen according to the modified OSD parameter.

    Abstract: A monitor including an integrated circuit with an operating voltage and a control unit for controlling the integrated circuit is provided. The control unit includes a driving unit, a counter, and a resetting unit. The control unit is used for sending out a command to drive the integrated circuit and receiving an acknowledge signal responded by the integrated circuit. The counter is coupled to the driving unit, and the counter value of the counter has an initial vale. The resetting unit is coupled to the counter for resetting the control unit. When the operating voltage is lower than a threshold voltage causing the integrated circuit to be shut down, the driving unit will repeatedly send out the command to drive the integrated circuit. If the driving unit drives the integrated circuit but the integrated circuit does not respond the acknowledge signal, the counter value will be increased by one.

    Abstract: A display device has a display screen, a display circuit, an image correction circuit, a timing pulse generator electrically connected to the image correction circuit, and a switch circuit. The switch circuit has a switch electrically positioned between the timing pulse generator and the image correction circuit, and a key electrically connected to the switch for controlling the state of the switch. The switch controls the transmission of a sampling timing pulse from the timing pulse generator to the image correction circuit. When the key is pressed, the switch is activated to permit the sampling timing pulse from the timing pulse generator to transmit to the image correction circuit. The image correction circuit will then perform an automatic image correction to an image frame displayed on the display screen depending on screen frame signals transmitted from a host computer.
