  • Patent number: 11931187
Abstract: A method for predicting clinical severity of a neurological disorder includes steps of: a) identifying, according to a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) image of a brain, brain image regions each of which contains a respective portion of diffusion index values of a diffusion index, which results from image processing performed on the MRI image; b) for one of the brain image regions, calculating a characteristic parameter based on the respective portion of the diffusion index values; and c) calculating a severity score that represents the clinical severity of the neurological disorder of the brain based on the characteristic parameter of the one of the brain image regions via a prediction model associated with the neurological disorder.

  • Patent number: 9997505
Abstract: Various examples of a lighting device, backlight module and illumination module are described. A lighting device includes a carrier component, an LED chip, a thermistor, and a plurality of metal wires. The carrier component includes a plurality of electrodes. The LED chip and the thermistor are disposed on the carrier component and electrically coupled to each other. The plurality of metal wires form a circuit with the plurality of electrodes, the LED chip, and the thermistor. The thermistor has dimensions in chip-level scale when viewed from the top of the lighting device. A backlight module includes the aforementioned lighting device. An illumination module includes the aforementioned lighting device and a driver which is electrically coupled to the lighting device.

  • Publication number: 20150178963
Abstract: A graphical analysis system and a graphical analysis method are disclosed. The graphical analysis system includes a display device, a receiving module, and a control module. The display device is configured to display a first graph, a second graph, and a graph comparison area, in which the display device displays the first graph according to first data and displays the second graph according to second data. The receiving module is configured to receive a first and second input commands. The control module is configured to respond to the first and second input commands. When the first and second input commands are configured to drag and drop the first graph and the second graph into the graph comparison area respectively, the control module controls the display device to display a third graph and display the corresponding data of the first data and the second data in juxtaposition in the third graph.

  • Patent number: 8469156
Abstract: A sequential brake control device for a cycle has a sliding connector and a front delaying and anti-lock spring set to serve to sequentially actuate a brake. A left lever cable and a right lever cable are commonly connected to the sliding connector. A front brake cable passes through the sliding connector and the front delaying and anti-lock spring set and is mounted in a front brake cable block abutting against the front delaying and anti-lock spring set. A rear brake cable may alternatively pass through the sliding connector and a rear suspension spring and is mounted in a rear brake cable block abutting against the rear suspension spring. When one or both brake levers are squeezed, a rear wheel is stopped before the front wheel does. The front and rear wheels are slowed down in speed first when a brake is applied and fully stopped at a lower speed of the cycle.
