In some systems, a user equipment (UE) may receive one or more messages scheduling a first uplink transmission over a first physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) resource on a first component carrier and a second uplink transmission over a second PUCCH resource on a second component carrier and, if the first PUCCH resource and the second PUCCH resource overlap in time, the UE 115 may transmit the first uplink transmission and the second uplink transmission using spatial relation information in accordance with a spatial relation configuration that is dedicated for selecting spatial relation information for simultaneous PUCCH transmissions on different component carriers. A network entity may configure the UE with spatial relation information for the overlapping PUCCH resources and the UE may select spatial relation information to use for the simultaneous uplink transmissions in accordance with the spatial relation configuration.

The UE may be configured to multiplex the PUCCHs together and/or multiplex the PUCCHs on the PUSCH. UCIs for different TRPs of the same UCI type may be encoded, rate matched, and mapped jointly or separately. When multiplexing PUCCHs together, the resulting PUCCH resource may be determined based on a predetermined rule.

The UE may also identify uplink control information to be multiplexed on the uplink shared channel (e.g., when the scheduled transmission overlaps with a control channel or based on an uplink grant for the uplink control information). The UE may multiplex the uplink control information on the uplink shared channel so as to maintain the same rate-matching scheme and the same coding scheme for each of the transmissions, and transmit the uplink control information in at least one of the transmissions.

The one or more preamble occasions and one or more payload occasions can be used to transmit random access messages in the two-step random access procedure.

The UE transmits a first message including a random access preamble and a payload, and then monitors for a second message in response to the first message during a random access response (RAR) window. In response to determining that no second message is received by the UE from the BS or a back off indicator is received within the RAR window, the UE re-transmits the preamble and payload of the first message after the RAR window lapses. In response to determining if the second message received within the RAR window carries a FallbackRAR or SuccessRAR, the UE then determines to re-transmit the payload of the first message based on the FallbackRAR, or to transmit an acknowledgement message based on the SuccessRAR.

The lenticular lenses may be configured to enable stereoscopic viewing of the display such that a viewer perceives three-dimensional images. The display may have a number of independently controllable viewing zones. A eye and/or head tracking system may use a camera to capture images of a viewer of the display. Control circuitry in the electronic device may use the captured images from the eye and/or head tracking system to determine which viewing zones are occupied by the viewer's eyes. The control circuitry may disable or dim viewing zones that are not occupied by the viewer's eyes in order to conserve power. An unoccupied viewing zone and an adjacent, occupied viewing zone may display the same image to increase sharpness in the display.
