The module includes a first fastener, a second fastener, a control circuit, and a magnetic element. The first fastener is disposed in the first body and has magnetic susceptibility. The second fastener is disposed in the second body and suitable for being fastened with the first fastener. The control circuit is disposed in the foldable electronic apparatus. The magnetic element is disposed in the foldable electronic apparatus, and is coupled to the control circuit. The magnetic element is controlled by the control circuit to determine whether to exert a magnetic force on the first fastener for driving the first fastener to be fastened with the second fastener.

The host comprises a storing device to store a plurality of target data; a location device to provide a location data; a comparator to compare the location data and the plurality of target data and a sender to send a confirming signal while the location data matches the at least one target data. Each of the portable editors corresponds to a target data and comprises a receiver and an intimating device, wherein the receiver is to receive the confirming signal when the corresponding target data matches the location data and the intimating device is to generate an intimating signal according to the confirming signal.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a portable electronic device with chargeable circuit, which comprises: a micro controller; a timer unit coupled to the micro controller; an input button coupled to the micro controller; a voltage converter coupled to the micro controller and input button; and an output interface coupled to the output of the voltage converter. Whereby, when the input button is pressed, the voltage converter will be activated and then supply power to the microcontroller. Afterwards, the microcontroller will activate the timer unit and the voltage controller for outputting power to the output interface in order to charge an electronic product.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for displaying real-time messages by a mouse cursor are disclosed. A setting unit sets a trigger condition for an event, and a monitoring unit monitors the event according to the trigger condition and thus generates a monitor result. A determining unit determines whether the event is triggered according to the conditions and the monitor result. When the event is triggered, a displaying unit displays a message on or near a mouse cursor to remind a user of the triggered event.

Abstract: The computer system, used for an operating system and providing desktops for a user to switch, includes a memory, a desktop management unit and a control unit. The memory stores desktop storage units, in which each of the desktop storage units stores a desktop file, and the desktop file includes at least one icon and one wallpaper image. The desktop management unit stores a desktop directory, and the desktop directory records an address of the desktop file stored in each of desktop storage units. The control unit is electrically connected to the memory and the desktop management unit and receives a desktop changing command transmitted by the operating system, so as to read the corresponding desktop file in the memory according to the desktop changing command and the desktop directory and to display the desktop file on the operating system.

Abstract: A system and a method for power control are provided. In the present invention, a control switch is disposed in a power adapter, which is turned on/off by a monitoring device disposed in a portable electronic device. As a result, the power inputted into the power adapter can be controlled, and thus the power consumption during the portable electronic being shut down is reduced. In addition, the present invention controls the power providing for a battery according to a detected power on/off signal and the electric quantity of the battery. The control switch is turned off to stop the power adapter from providing power when the electric quantity of the battery reaches a reference value. Therefore, the overheating situation of the portable electronic device or the battery that may shorten their service life because of continuing receiving power can be avoided.

Abstract: A predetermined ID code is set in a server, and a radio frequency identification (RFID) tag is configured on an electronic device. A tag ID code of the RFID tag is received by a reader and then is transmitted to the server. The server is used to compare the tag ID code and the predetermined ID code. When the tag ID code is the same as the predetermined ID code, the server is arranged to transmit an enable signal to grant the access of the electronic device. When the tag ID code is different from the predetermined ID code, the server is arranged to send a disable signal to deny the access of the electronic device.

Abstract: A radio frequency identification (RFID) security system includes an RFID tag and a portable electronic device. The RFID tag has a user ID code. The portable electronic device has a reader, an identification memory and an identification controller. The reader is used to communicate with the RFID tag and to receive the user ID code. The identification memory is used to store a user password. The identification controller is electrically connected to the reader and the identification memory and is used to compare the user ID code and the user password. When the user ID code is the same as the user password, the identification controller is arranged to transmit an enable signal to grant the access of the portable electronic device.

Abstract: A method for delivering a confidential e-mail is disclosed. The application software loads a first e-mail, checks if an attached file of the first e-mail is encrypted, opens a second e-mail for delivering a password of the attached file when the attached file is encrypted, and loads at least one receiver of the first e-mail to the second e-mail for sending the second e-mail.

Abstract: A method for charging and maintaining a rechargeable battery is provided. The method includes the steps of enabling a life extending mode; determining whether the electric potential of the battery is less than or substantially equal to a predetermined charging level; charging the battery when the battery is connected with a power supply; and maintaining the electric potential of the battery at the predetermined battery level, in which the predetermined battery level is set at approximately from 50% to 70% of the full capacity of the battery.

Abstract: A system for controlling a keyboard is provided. The present invention adopts a structure integrating a scanning unit into a keyboard device. After scanning the keyboard, a key matrix position of a pressed key is sent to a control device. By looking up a programmable matrix table stored in the control device, a corresponding scan code is found out. Therefore, a circuit disposed between the keyboard device and the control device is simplified and the manufacturing cost can be reduced.

Abstract: A data processing system for touch pad and the method thereof are disclosed. The system includes the touch pad and an embedded controller. First, a sensor device in the touch pad receives a sensing signal and stores the sensing signal in the touch pad. Next, the embedded controller receives the sensing signal, converts the sensing signal into a signal acceptable to a terminal, and then transmits the converted sensing signal to the terminal. According to the present invention, the microprocessor, RAM (Random Access Memory), and ROM (Read-Only Memory) in the touch pad can be omitted to reduce the manufacturing cost of the touch pad module.

Therefore, when a client unit intends to access the data storage unit, addresses of the ruined storage areas would be redirected to addresses of the operable storage areas. When being applied to a system on chip (SOC), the method allows an embedded memory with ruined storage areas to be nevertheless operative without having to replace the entire chip.

Abstract: A faulty storage area marking and accessing method and system applicable to a data storage unit (e.g. an embedded memory integrated in a SoC) having a plurality of storage areas, for providing the data storage unit with an automatic faulty storage area marking function for access control, so as to inspect and identify faulty storage areas and operable storage areas of the data storage unit. Therefore, when a client unit intends to access the data storage unit, the faulty storage areas are avoided being accessed and only the operable storage areas are accessed. The method automatically checks whether the inputted mailing address is one among a list of predetermined mailing addresses obtained by means of providing users with a new field for entering mailing addresses or clicking a predetermined button after entering mailing addresses. This prevents the need to exclude external mailing addresses or to re-enter mailing addresses and the disadvantage of incomplete information security due to deletion mistakes or omission.
