  • Patent number: 7540127
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a vacuum sealer, which exhausts air from a thermal adhesive vacuum bag containing products and then heats and seals the open end of the vacuum bag. The vacuum sealer includes a lower body. An upper body is pivotably mounted to the lower body in such a way as to engage with the lower body. A heater is installed in either or both the lower body or/and the upper body, and heats and seals a vacuum bag. A vacuum space creating member is installed in either or both the lower body or/and the upper body, and isolates an end of the vacuum bag which is evacuated from an exterior, thus creating a vacuum space. A vacuum pump is coupled via a tube to an exhaust hole communicating with the vacuum space created by the vacuum space creating member.

  • Publication number: 20070215510
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a vacuum vessel, capable of maintaining the freshness of food contained in the vessel for a lengthy period of time by creating a vacuum in the vessel. The vacuum vessel includes a main body (10) having along an edge thereof an annular protrusion. A seat (15) is disposed in the main body to seat an exterior receptacle containing food therein. A cover (20) covers the main body, and includes a valve mount part and a packing groove defined between inner and outer rings at a position corresponding to the annular protrusion of the main body. A packing (25) is fitted into the packing groove, and has an insert groove to engage with the annular protrusion of the main body, and an extension part to enhance a seal. A check valve (30)(130)(230) is mounted to the valve mount part of the cover.

  • Patent number: 7000367
Abstract: The present invention relates to a vacuum packaging machine for vacuum sealing by putting food into a vacuum packaging bag, removing air from the vacuum packaging bag, and sealing an open portion of the vacuum packaging bag, and a system for controlling the vacuum packaging machine. The vacuum packaging machine includes a housing (10), a hood (20) and a separation unit (60). The housing (10) has a cover (11b) with a rubber packing (12) attached to a border thereof and an outlet (110b) formed therein, and a heater (16) for sealing a vacuum packaging bag. The hood (20) is hingedly connected to the housing (10) to selectively open and close a top of the housing (10), and has a rubber packing (22). The separation unit (60) communicates with the outlet (110b) through a communicating member and is connected to a vacuum pump. The vacuum packaging machine forms a vacuum through the vacuum pump when the rubber packings (22 and 12) of both the hood (20) and the housing (10) come into contact with each other.

  • Publication number: 20050223682
Abstract: A vacuum sealer of the present invention includes a main body and a hood hinged to the main body. A heater is installed on the main body, and engages with a pressing member provided on the hood to heat and seal an open end of a bag. A vacuum pump is provided in the main body to be coupled to a suction nozzle communicating with the open end of the bag. Further, a straight line-shaped sealing member is provided as a predetermined position on the main body and another sealing member is provided as a position corresponding to the straight line-shaped sealing member. The sealing members define a vacuum channel to which vacuum pressure is applied by the vacuum pump, when the hood comes into contact with the main body. A control unit functions to control the heater and the vacuum pump.
