Abstract: An automatic steel ball inspection method and system are capable of inspecting surfaces and physical properties of the steel balls, and sorting out non-targeted and non-qualified steel balls. The inspection mainly includes detecting the physical properties of the steel balls by inspecting the eddy current of the steel balls, sorting out non-targeted steel balls, taking pictures of the surfaces of the steel balls with an image pickup device, comparing the pictures of the surfaces of the steel balls, and sorting out non-qualified steel balls.

Abstract: An inspection device and method are capable of inspecting physical properties of a steel ball quickly and precisely by using eddy current. The inspection device includes an inspection passage and an inspector has a plurality of probes located in the inspection passage. Each of the probes can produce a specific magnetic field and detect eddy current change produced by the steel ball when moving through the magnetic field, whereby to produce a signal. Then, the signal will be analyzed by the inspector and converted into physical property data of the steel ball.

Abstract: A feeding device for a balls-sorting machine serves to guide balls to a rotary ball-carrying disc disposed in a housing, the ball-carrying disc is formed with a plurality of ball-falling holes. The feeding device comprises: a feeding hopper, a dividing device, and a control unit. The feeding hopper includes a feeding hole and a feeding passage connected to the housing. The dividing device is abutted against the ball-carrying disc and formed with a receiving space, and a sub-inputting hole and a sub-outputting hole which are in communication with the receiving space, the sub-inputting hole is connected to the feeding passage, and the sub-outputting hole is located corresponding to the ball-falling holes of the ball-carrying disc.
