The base of the positioning devices are secured on the bottom plate of the frame and the posts thereof are against the diffusive plate, such that the lamp is suspended and the relative locations of the lamps, the diffusive plate and the reflective film are fixed.

    Abstract: An interpupillary distance adjustment mechanism for an optical device includes a slide rail (1) mounted on a middle support of the optical device, two slide blocks (2) mounted on respective lens barrels of the optical device, and a blocking member (4, 4?). The two slide blocks are slidably movable relative to the slide rail toward or away from each other to change the distance between the two lens barrels of the optical device. The blocking member is manually operable to provide an acting force between the slide block and the slide rail, and thus changing the friction force therebetween during sliding movement of the slide block. In this way, undesired sliding movement of the slide block relative to the slide rail can be prevented.

    Abstract: A lead frame and a semiconductor package with the lead frame are provided. The lead frame includes a die pad for mounting at least one semiconductor chip thereon; at least one grounding portion protruded from the die pad; and a plurality of leads. The grounding portion has a grounding surface and an opposing bottom surface, wherein the thickness of the grounding portion is smaller than that of the die pad, and a ground pad is formed on the grounding surface for connecting at least one grounding wire to the chip for transmitting ground signals. A plurality of bonding wires are connected from the chip to the leads such that the chip can be electrically connected to an external device via the bonding wires and leads. By the above arrangement, the grounding wire can be prevented from breakage by thermal stress in a high-temperature process, and the production yield is improved.

    Abstract: A cutting tool adjustment method is disclosed to lower a cutting tool on a transparent Mylar to produce an indentation before actual scribing operation, and then to pick up the image of the indentation, and then to use a numerical analysis method and the set formula to automatically calculate the correction angle and position and to adjust the angle and position of the cutting tool subject to the calculation result, and then to repeat the calculation and adjustment procedure if necessary. Thus, the cutting tool and its cutting edge can be accurately adjusted to the correct angle and position to obtain a precise indentation. Further, by means of the automatic adjustment procedure, the present invention saves much adjusting time, thereby improving the productivity.
