  • Publication number: 20160321659
Abstract: The infrastructure that is used to process transactions may be used to create a report, thereby reducing the number of physical interactions involved to create a report. In one example, a pre-authorization for an event occurs and is sent to a real-time monitor. The real-time monitor identifies the physical location of the event, names associated with the event, and the purpose of the event. Further information about the event is then collected from a person who participates in the event. The event is then sent to a pending report monitor, which awaits notice of completion of the event from the physical infrastructure in which the event occurs. Once notice of event completion is received, the completed report of the event is submitted without further interaction with the person involved in the event.

  • Patent number: 9058396
Abstract: In one or more embodiments, a flip ahead input, such as a gesture, provides touch users with an ability to easily navigate various websites. The flip ahead input can be utilized to advance to the next portion of relevant content. In at least some embodiments, the flip ahead input resides in the form of a forward swipe. In one or more embodiments, the flip ahead input is configured to be utilized in association with an aggregated browsing history from multiple users. The aggregated browsing history is analyzed to generate rules that are then downloaded to a client device and used by a suitably-configured web browser to ascertain the next portion of content when a flip ahead input is received.

  • Publication number: 20130160144
Abstract: Among other things, one or more techniques and/or systems are provided for verifying an identity of an entity via a third-party authentication system. As an example, an entity may be logged into a website and may have certain access permissions given the manner within which the entity was logged into the website. The entity may attempt to access, via the website, protected data owned by the website and/or owned by a third-party (e.g., social networking website). If the access permissions presently associated with the entity do not allow the entity to access the protected data, a request may be made to the third-party authentication system (e.g., operated by the social networking website) to verify the identity of the entity before increasing the access permissions to grant the entity access to the protected data.

  • Publication number: 20130031106
Abstract: Automatic suggestion for search query formulation is facilitated by considering social network information. A plurality of search queries can be identified as a function of a partial search query specified by a user and search history of one or more social network contacts of the user. Subsequently, these identified queries can be ranked to aid determination of a subset of the identified queries to suggest for query completion. Further, query suggestions resulting from a social network contact can be annotated to set them apart from other query suggestions.
