Abstract: A method of controlling a remote-controlled electronic device using a universal remote controller comprises the following steps. The first step is to provide a universal remote controller. The second step is to establish a communication link between the universal remote controller and a first electronic device, such that the universal remote controller is able to obtain a playback list from the first electronic device through the communication link and the first electronic device is able to obtain a user related information from the first electronic device through the communication link. The third step is that the universal remote controller classifies the playback list. The fifth step is that the universal remote controller receives execution commands from an input device based on the classified playback list, and the universal remote controller transmitting wireless signal commands corresponding to the execution commands to a second electronic device based on the execution commands.

Abstract: The present invention provides an integrated broadcasting system for digital broadcasting programs, comprising: a broadcasting server, a VOD (Video On Demand) server and user players. The broadcasting server broadcasts the digital broadcasting programs in accordance with preset broadcasting schedule. The VOD server stores the backups of digital broadcasting programs broadcasted during previous time and further processes and responds to the requests from user players. The user players receive and play the digital broadcasting programs in strict accordance with the schedule. Also, the user players can transmit requests to the VOD server for enabling the user players to replay the programs specified by the user players. Consequently, the user players can receive the digital broadcasting programs following the schedule and receive the specified programs by means of Time-shift as well.

Abstract: A method for asynchronously watching programs from internet includes providing at least one IP address in connection to the internet, receiving a user's end connection through the at least one IP address, transmitting the corresponding program to the user's end over the at least one IP address, receiving the user's end connection to the random visual communication server, receiving command package to the random visual communication server from the user's end, processing the command package by the random visual communication server, the user's end requesting connection to the video program broadcasting server, receiving programs of the video program broadcasting server through the IP address, sending command package from the user's end to the video program broadcasting server, receiving responses from the video program broadcasting server after sending the command package, and playing the visual programs as randomly selected.

Abstract: The present invention provides a remote control video recording and playing system, and its method, comprising: at least a video program broadcasting system, a video server, and a client computer. A video program broadcasting system includes a channel sending video programs through the broadcasting network to the computers at the client's end. A video server stores a plurality of digital video programs, each corresponding to a broadcasted video program. The said video server is able to receive the user instructions, and to send the stored digital videos to the computer at the client end, both through the internet. A client computer is used for selecting channels, and sending instructions to the video server. The said client computer is able to receive the video programs broadcasted through the network, and record a plurality of digital video programs in the video server, each requested with a separate instruction, sent by the said video server through the internet simultaneously.
