  • Patent number: 10125438
Abstract: A bow maker set with interchangeable components is disclosed herein. In one embodiment, a bow making device kit includes a base assembly having a body component defining a needle mounting receptacle, a catch mounting receptacle, and fork mounting grooves. The bow making device kit could also include a needle assembly removably attachable to the needle mounting receptacle. The bow making device kit could also include a plurality of forks removably attachable to the fork mounting grooves. Each fork could have a base with a plurality of prongs extending therefrom. The plurality of forks circumscribe the needle assembly when the needle assembly and the plurality of forks are attached to the base assembly. The bow making device kit could also include a catch assembly removably attachable to the catch mounting receptacle. The catch assembly could have a plurality of fingers with movable inserts biased inwardly to contact each other.

  • Patent number: 8403145
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a bow making device and methods of use thereof. The device is configured to include one or more ribbon rolls, an elongated flexible member, a container, and a lid having a clip and indicia for ribbon measurement. In some aspects, the clip includes a base and a plurality of fingers defining a channel and a receptacle. The container includes transparent material such that the rolls are visually-perceptible through the transparent material, and slits are provided for dispensing ribbon. In use, ribbon is dispensed through the slits and then formed into a bow. Regarding the latter, the elongated flexible member is slid through the channel into receptacle, and the ribbon is folded into measured lengths and slid through the channel into the receptacle. A user pulls the elongated flexible member and measured lengths of ribbon out of the clip through the channel and ties the ribbon to form a bow.

  • Publication number: 20070152090
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a device for containing a center-pull roll that has a central core and an elongated material, such as ribbon, wound about the central core. The device has a peripheral wall with a first end and a second end opposite the first end, as well as a first end wall positioned proximal the first end and having a dispensing outlet formed substantially centrally therein. The device also includes a second end wall positioned proximal the second end. The central core is axially aligned with the dispensing outlet, such that the central core may be removed through the dispensing outlet and the elongated material may be dispensed through the dispensing outlet. The peripheral wall can have a portal formed therein for passage of a finger at least partially therethrough to touch the elongated material.
