  • Patent number: 12289753
Abstract: A device is provided. The device includes: at least one antenna, a plurality of buffer sets, and a circuit. Each buffer set includes a plurality of queue buffers, and each queue buffer is dedicated for a respective application category. The circuit communicates with one or more stations through the at least one antenna. In response to the circuit determining that a plurality of incoming frames or packets are classified into the same application category, the circuit performs an intra-Access Category (intra-AC) scheduling mechanism to determine priorities of data stored in the queue buffers in the same application category according to QoS (quality-of-service) requirements of each station so as to arrange for an MU (multi-user) PPDU (physical-layer protocol data unit) to be transmitted to at least a portion of the stations.

  • Publication number: 20110019581
Abstract: A method for identifying packets comprises the steps of: obtaining a cumulative distribution function (CDF) and a probability distribution function (PDF) in accordance with a plurality of packets stored in an entry of a data flow table; obtaining a time interval under the condition of the CDF being a specified value; obtaining a ratio of the quantity of the plurality of packets included within a specified range around the time interval; determining whether attributes of the plurality of packets are substantially the same in accordance with the PDF; and identifying the plurality of packets in accordance with the ratio and whether the attributes of the plurality of packets are substantially the same.

  • Patent number: 7627071
Abstract: The timing synchronization module includes a phase locked loop (PLL) and a synchronization processing unit. The PLL receives an output-end clock signal. When the PLL receives the output-end clock signal for the first time, the PLL generates a reception-end clock signal according to the output-end clock signal. The synchronization processing unit receives a procedure clock signal and the reception-end clock signal. The output-end clock signal has M clocks after the reception-end clock signal is generated, while the reception-end clock signal has N clocks as generated. When the difference value of M and N is larger than a preset value, the synchronization processing unit removes the media signal corresponding to the procedure clock signal and generates the reception-end clock signal again. When the difference value is smaller than the preset value, the synchronization processing unit controls media signal playing according to the reception-end clock signal and the procedure clock signal.

  • Patent number: 7426217
Abstract: A method for transferring data by an AV playback system. The AV playback system includes a transmitting terminal and a receiving terminal connected to the transmitting terminal via a network. The receiving terminal includes a receiving buffer, a decoder buffer, and a play-out buffer. The method includes transmitting a first format data from the transmitting terminal to the receiving terminal via the network; stopping transmitting the first format data from the transmitting terminal to the receiving terminal; cleaning data in the receiving buffer, data in the decoder buffer, and data in the play-out buffer; and transmitting another format data different from the first format data from the transmitting terminal to the receiving terminal via the network.

  • Publication number: 20050147033
Abstract: A data control method used in a media player system is disclosed. The media player system includes a data end and a play end connected to each other through a network. The data end includes an encoder for encoding media data. The play end includes a buffer for storing media data packets. The method includes comparing the number of media data packets stored in the buffer with a high threshold and a low threshold, decelerating the encoding by the encoder of the data end if the number of media data packets stored in the buffer is larger than the high threshold, and accelerating the encoding by the encoder of the data end if the number of media data packets stored in the buffer is smaller than the high threshold.

  • Publication number: 20050088984
Abstract: A method for video data transmission in a wireless network. The wireless network includes a receiver for receiving a plurality of image bit-stream data. The method includes utilizing the receiver to determine if a first header in the plurality of image bit-stream data is received, and then utilizing the receiver to determine a default deader to be operated as the first header if the receiver does not receive the first header.

  • Publication number: 20040268409
Abstract: A system of dynamic video mode switching and a method for transmitting the same that, according to the communication environment detected by the detection parameter, the mode of the linear transmission won't be changed if the communication environment is good, and the redundant data generated by the image grabber is removed for reducing the volume of data transmitted and increasing the communicating distance of wireless transmission if the communicating circumstance is poor. In addition, other compress method may be adapted for cooperating with the present invention for further compressing the data.

  • Publication number: 20040197076
Abstract: An image processing method able to maintain the image display quality of a transmitting system during a channel conversion from a first channel to a second channel. A first image signal and a second image signal are respectively transmitted to the transmitting system from the first channel and the second channel. A channel conversion request is sent to the transmitting system, controlling the transmitting system to stop transmitting the first image signal and start transmitting a preset image signal. Finally, the preset image signal stops transmitting, and the second image signal starts transmitting.
