  • Patent number: 11659678
Abstract: An information handling system may include a chassis, a bay within the chassis for receiving a modular information handling resource, and a pulley assembly within the chassis and adjacent to the bay, the pulley assembly comprising a handle mechanically rotatable between a closed position and an open position, a pulley subsystem comprising a pulley cable mechanically coupled to the handle, and a carrier mechanically coupled to the pulley subsystem and configured such that the modular information handling resource rests on the carrier when the modular information handling resource is installed in the information handling system. The pulley assembly may be arranged such that force applied to the handle when the handle is in the open position provides a mechanical advantage via the pulley subsystem to mechanically translate the carrier in accordance with the force and the mechanical advantage to cause at least partial removal of the modular information handling resource from the bay in response to the force.

  • Patent number: 11071229
Abstract: An air shroud includes a main portion, an extension portion, and a first adjustable air baffle. The main portion is in physical communication with one or more cooling fans of an information handling system. The extension portion extends from the main portion. The first adjustable air baffle is in physical communication with the extension portion. The first adjustable air baffle is biased toward an extended position. When a first memory module is located within a first memory slot of an information handling system while the main portion is in physical communication with the one or more cooling fans, the first adjustable air baffle transitions from the extended position to a collapsed position in response to a force being exerted on the first adjustable air baffle by the first memory module.

  • Patent number: 7518855
Abstract: A display apparatus with a detachable base support is provided. The display apparatus includes a display panel, a base, a support, and a latch. The base includes an accommodation area for accommodating the support and a protrusion, which is disposed on a sidewall around the accommodation area and projects toward a center of the accommodation area. The support includes a guiding portion and a receiving portion. The latch is movably coupled with the guiding portion to be selectively in a first position and a second position. As the latch is in the first position, the receiving portion is accessible for receiving the protrusion. When the protrusion is received in the receiving portion, the latch moves to the second position so that the receiving portion is inaccessible and the protrusion is confined within the receiving portion, whereby the support is mounted on the base and capable of supporting the display panel.
