    Abstract: A dedicated method for determining peers located close to another peer, each peer having at least one communication device connected to a communication node of a communication network including multiple communication nodes, of which some have a known fixed position and are known as “landmarks”. This method consists in, upon detection of a new peer, i) in determining in the communication network the closest landmark to the new peer, then ii) in determining from among the multiple nodes known as intermediary nodes that define the path linking this new peer to the pre-determined landmark, and iii) in determining a group of peers located close to the new peer as a function of at least the pre-determined path definition and the definitions of the paths linking other peers to at least the pre-determined landmark.

    Abstract: A new and improved process for rinsing and drying a wafer to remove photoresist stripping chemicals and residue from the wafer during a photoresist stripping operation. The rinsing and drying process includes dispensing a heated rinsing liquid onto the wafer followed by application of a heated drying gas against the wafer to dry the rinsing liquid from the wafer. Heating of the rinsing liquid and drying gas facilitates expedited rinsing and drying, respectively, of the wafer, resulting in increased wafer throughput and enhanced efficiency of the photoresist stripping process.

    Abstract: A securing member is provided for securing a wheel cover to a wheel. The securing member has an upper part, and a lower part. The upper part has hooking portions extending from a lower portion. The lower part has an engaging protrusion sticking sideways from a lower portion. The securing member is pivotally connected to one of spaced connecting plates on the edge of a wheel cover. The connecting plates have engaging holes for the hooking portions and the engaging protrusion to be engaged with. The securing member can be connected to the connecting plate in in-use position with the engaging protrusion being inserted into one engaging hole. The securing member can be moved to not-in-use laid-down position so that wheels covers equipped with securing members of the same kind can occupy less space when stacked up in a pile.

    Abstract: The present invention provides a set-up method and apparatus for auto-negotiation that is used in a computer system with a network interface device to reduce the boot up time for the computer system and the complexity of boot up program. In the present invention, some of the operations of initializing the network interface card are performed while the computer system boots up to reduce the entire boot up time of the computer system. Moreover, in present invention, some of the operations in initializing the network interface card are performed by the hardware on the network interface card, which also reduces the complexity of the boot up operation of a computer system.
