  • Publication number: 20150349620
Abstract: A horizontally rotating driving apparatus is connected with a longitudinal rotating shaft and includes a frame, a rotating unit, multiple electromagnetic units and multiple sensor switch units. The frame is mounted on the rotating shaft and has an inner space formed inside the frame. The rotating unit is located in the inner space of the frame and is horizontally and rotatably mounted on the rotating shaft to form a rotation path. The electromagnetic units are disposed in the inner space of the frame and are arranged along the rotation path of the rotating unit. The sensor switch units are mounted in the frame and are disposed in the inner space of the frame at identical intervals. When one of the magnetic portions passes the sensor switch units, the sensor switch units sequentially control the electromagnetic units to start or to stop generating magnetic force and rotate the rotating unit.

  • Publication number: 20130311939
Abstract: A scrolling speed controlling method of an input device is disclosed. The method includes detecting one or more notches rolled by a scrolling unit of the input device in operation, wherein each notch corresponds to a number of scrolling lines; calculating a time duration between two adjacent notches and determining whether the time duration is smaller than or equal to a threshold time; when the time duration is smaller than or equal to the threshold time, the scrolling unit is determined to roll in a fast-rolling mode and the number of scrolling lines corresponding to each notch is increased progressively; accumulating the numbers of scrolling lines corresponding to the rolled notches to generate an accumulated number of lines; outputting a control command to the computer to instruct the computer to scroll the document according to a designated number of lines instructed by the control command; and subtracting the designated number of lines from the accumulated number of lines.

  • Publication number: 20120306804
Abstract: A touch device including a first touch-sensing unit, a second touch-sensing unit, a touch-sensing strip module, and a control module is disclosed for controlling functions performed by an electronic device. The first and the second touch-sensing unit respectively generate a first and a second touch signal while touched. The touch-sensing strip module includes sequentially arranged M third touch-sensing units, and the touch-sensing strip module generates a first sliding signal when the third touch-sensing units are touched in a first predetermined sequence. The control module drives the electric device to perform a first function while receiving the first touch signal and the first sliding signal simultaneously, and the control module drives the electric device to perform a second function while receiving the second touch signal and the first sliding signal simultaneously.

  • Patent number: 8174500
Abstract: A temperature controlled mouse includes a central controller, a driver control circuit, a temperature control circuit, and a signal transmitting circuit. The driver control circuit generates coordinate control signals and pointer clicking signals, and the signals are transmitted to a host computer coupled to the mouse via the signal transmitting circuit. The temperature control circuit detects the changes of the temperature from a user's hand and thereby generates temperature control signals. The central controller controls the operation status of the mouse according to the temperature control signals, wherein when the temperature detected is within a predetermined temperature range, the central controller wakes the mouse and allows the transmission of signals from the mouse to the host computer; otherwise the central controller stops the transmission of signals. The temperature controlled mouse prevents accidental activation due to negligent bump.

  • Publication number: 20110050577
Abstract: Provided is a wireless peripheral device. Preferably the wireless peripheral device includes an operating main body and a receiver. The operating main body particularly has a controlling unit having built-in identification code. This identification code is particularly stored in a non-volatile memory of the controlling unit. The receiver, corresponding to the operating main body, pre-stores the matched identification code. The receiver acquires the power supplied from a computer system as connected therewith. Automatically, the operating main body and the receiver are wirelessly connected in accordance with the identification code. It is featured that the cost of the wireless peripheral device can be effectively reduced, and the related matching procedure can also be simplified before factory shipment.

  • Publication number: 20100164388
Abstract: A luminous system with a changeable color light applicable to an electronic device is provided. The system includes a light emitter for emitting a first light to outside of the electronic device, a color sensor for receiving a second light that is the reflection of the first light from an object and generating a RGB signal, and a central controller for receiving the RGB signal and generating a backlight color adjusting signal according to the RGB signal received. A backlight driver module of the device is further introduced to drive a backlight module to emit a third light according to the adjusting signal. The color of the third light is particularly the same as the second light. Thus the backlight color of the electronic device changes as what the color of the object is. The visual effect of the product can be alternative by providing this changeable color light.
