    Abstract: In a method for obtaining the equivalent oxide thickness of a dielectric layer, a first semiconductor capacitor including a first silicon dioxide layer and a second semiconductor capacitor including a second silicon dioxide layer are provided and a modulation voltage is applied to the semiconductor capacitors to measure a first scanning capacitance microscopic signal and a second scanning capacitance microscopic signal. According to the equivalent oxide thicknesses of the silicon dioxide layers and the scanning capacitance microscopic signals, an impedance ratio is calculated. The modulation voltage is applied to a third semiconductor capacitor including a dielectric layer to measure a third scanning capacitance microscopic signal. Finally, the equivalent oxide thickness of the dielectric layer is obtained according to the equivalent oxide thickness of the first silicon dioxide layer, the first scanning capacitance microscopic signal, third scanning capacitance microscopic signal, and the impedance ratio.

    Abstract: A method for predicting clinical severity of a neurological disorder includes steps of: a) identifying, according to a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) image of a brain, brain image regions each of which contains a respective portion of diffusion index values of a diffusion index, which results from image processing performed on the MRI image; b) for one of the brain image regions, calculating a characteristic parameter based on the respective portion of the diffusion index values; and c) calculating a severity score that represents the clinical severity of the neurological disorder of the brain based on the characteristic parameter of the one of the brain image regions via a prediction model associated with the neurological disorder.

    Abstract: An optical component includes a phase diffraction grating and an amplitude diffraction grating. The phase diffraction grating includes a center concave section and a plurality of ring stages. The ring stages surround the center concave section. The center concave section and the ring stages form a cavity, where a light source is disposed in the cavity and emits the light to the optical component. Each of the ring stages has a stage surface. Each of the stage surfaces includes a plurality of ring microstructures arranged in concentric circles. The widths of each ring microstructure in at least one of the ring stages are less than the quarter wavelength of the light. The amplitude diffraction grating includes a center convex section and a plurality of ring parts. The center convex section and the center concave section are aligned. The ring parts surround the central convex section.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a light-emitting film, a light-emitting film array, a micro-light emitting diode (LED) array, and their manufacturing methods. In one embodiment, epitaxial layers are formed on a substrate, and a conversion film is formed on a corresponding epitaxial layer. Pixels can be defined through lithography with a very small pixel size. A mass transfer is unnecessary for this method. The produced light-emitting films and the conversion films are homogeneous films and are insoluble in water, and the manufacturing steps can be simplified due to the waterproofing function of the films.

One of the plurality of light-emitting units is disposed on the first carrying portion, and another one of the plurality of light-emitting units is disposed on the second carrying portion. The first optical unit is configured to receive the light generated from the light-emitting unit disposed on the first carrying portion, and the second optical unit is configured to receive the light generated from the light-emitting unit disposed on the second carrying portion. Through the structure of the metal rear frame, the light-emitting unit can directly contact the metal rear frame and the heat dissipation efficiency can be enhanced.
