Abstract: A pixel structure of an image sensor and fabrication methods thereof are provided. The pixel structure includes a semiconductor substrate and plural pixel units disposed on the semiconductor substrate. The pixel units are electrically connected to each other, and each of the pixel units includes a light-sensitive region, a transfer gate and a protection layer. A terminal portion of the protection layer is covered by the transfer gate, and a width of the terminal portion of the protection layer is progressively decreased along a depthwise direction of the terminal portion of the protection layer. In the fabrication methods of the pixel structure, the protection layers of the pixel units are formed by doping with a tilt angle, so as to form the terminal portion of the protection layer.

The waterproof cover includes a water blocking portion configured to surround a periphery of a connector; a sealing portion fastened to an end of the water blocking portion, configured to be sleeved on a tail end of the connector to seal the tail end of the connector, to block water in a space between the water blocking portion and the connector. The water blocking portion can surround the periphery of the connector, and block the water leaking from the periphery of the connector from flowing outwards from the connector. The sealing portion can prevent water from leaking from the tail end of the connector to the outside of the connector, and block in a space between the water blocking portion and the connector. Abstract: Provided is a poly-p-xylyene having at least one chemically active functional group present in a form of particles. In an embodiment, the functionalized poly-p-xylylene is synthesized via CVD, and electrospinning is then performed at a relatively low polymer concentration, so as to produce functionalized poly-p-xylylene particles. The functionalized poly-p-xylyene particles have a particle size at nano-scale or micro-scale. Such functionalized poly-p-xylyene particles can be applied to biological fields extensively.

Abstract: A method for rapid mincing of adipose tissues to isolate live cells in vitro is disclosed to overcome the drawbacks of a lead procedure of isolating live cells by holding a knife to mince adipose tissues, which can only isolate a small number of live cells and obtain low cell viability. The method includes: providing an adipose tissue; mincing the adipose tissue homogeneously by a mincing device; adding a reagent into the minced adipose tissue to perform hydrolysis; performing centrifuge and isolation; and removing a supernatant to obtain a cell pellet. Therefore, the time of mincing adipose tissues can be shortened, and contaminations caused by repeated use of the knife can be avoided. The method can be used for isolating live cells of adipose tissues to improve the number of live cells per unit weight of adipose tissues without reducing the cell viability.

The apparatus comprises a feature extracting unit configured to extract HIFs (Hidden Identity Features) for different regions of faces by using differently trained ConvNets, wherein last hidden layer neuron activations of said ConvNets are considered as the HIFs. The apparatus further comprises a verification unit configured to concatenate the extracted HIFs of each of the faces to form a feature vector, and then compare two of the formed feature vectors to determine if they are from the same identity or not.
