Abstract: A cover of an office machine utilized for pressing a document on a glass plate is provided. The cover has a platform, a film, and a handle. The platform has a compressible layer for pressing the document on the glass plate. The film is located on a lower surface of the compressible layer for flattening the document. The handle is pivotally connected to an edge of the platform. The handle also connects to the film. As the handle is lifted, the film is elastically deformed to have air injected between the film and the glass plate.

Abstract: Scanners and hinges thereof are provided. A hinge includes a first pivot portion, a second pivot portion, and a connecting portion. The first pivot portion is disposed on the cover. The second pivot portion is elastic, and is pivoted at the first pivot portion. The connecting portion is connected to the second pivot portion, and is disposed in the body. The cover rotates between a first angle and a second angle with respect to the connecting portion. When an angle intersected by the cover and the connecting portion exceeds a critical angle, the second pivot portion is separated from the first pivot portion by means of the elasticity of the second pivot portion.

Abstract: A print media feeding apparatus and method thereof. The print media feeding apparatus includes a tray, a first feeding device and a second feeding device. A print media sheet is supported by the tray. In the first feeding device, a first main roller rotates a first sub roller and a first drive belt in the same direction. In the second feeding device, a second main roller rotates a second sub roller opposite to the first main roller. When the first main roller rotates in a first direction, the first drive belt contacts and feeds the print media sheet on the tray. When the first main roller rotates in a second direction, the first drive belt moves away from the tray, and the second sub roller moves to an in-contact position and contacts and feeds the print media sheet.
