  • Publication number: 20180167794
Abstract: Fast channel deployment is achieved amongst subscriber devices (SDs) having an incident scene role at an incident scene. An SD detects an incident scene arrival trigger associated with arrival at an incident scene. Responsive to detecting the incident scene arrival trigger, the SD (i) tunes to a pre-configured incident channel or (ii) scans a plurality of channels for an incident channel and tunes to the incident channel once located. The SD receives, via the incident channel, an incident scene role to traffic channel mapping that maps a particular incident scene role associated with the subscriber device to a particular assigned traffic channel on which subscriber devices associated with a same incident scene role may communicate. The SD tunes to the particular assigned traffic channel as a function of the incident scene role to traffic channel mapping.

  • Patent number: 8787200
Abstract: A device, a system, and a method for automatically configuring application terminals in a home network are disclosed. The method is as follows. A home gateway receives identifier information of an application terminal sent by the application terminal through a Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP). The identifier information of the application terminal is sent to a public network through a DHCP message, so as to determine a DHCP server corresponding to an automatic configuration server (ACS) of the application terminal. Address information of the ACS of the application terminal is obtained from the DHCP server on the public network through a DHCP message. The address information is transmitted to the application terminal, so that the application terminal obtains configuration information from the ACS according to the address information to perform an auto-configuration.

  • Patent number: 8355539
Abstract: A method for determining whether a target vehicle in front of a host vehicle intends to change lanes using radar data and image data is disclosed, comprising the steps of processing the image data to detect the boundaries of the lane of the host vehicle; estimating a ground plane by determining a projected vanishing point of the detected lane boundaries; using a camera projection matrix to map the target vehicle from the radar data to image coordinates; and determining lane change intentions of the target vehicle based on a moving trajectory and an appearance change of the target vehicle. Determining lane change intentions based on a moving trajectory of the target vehicle is based on vehicle motion trajectory relative to the center of the lane such that the relative distance of the target vehicle from the center of the lane follows a predetermined trend.

  • Publication number: 20120216572
Abstract: The present invention relates to the polysilicon purification technology field with physical metallurgy technology, especially to a method for removing P and B impurities in the polysilicon using electron beam melting technology. In this method, two electron guns are used for irradiating electron beam to melt polysilicon, meanwhile, P and B are removed in a dual process. P will firstly be removed, and then B will be further removed through further melting for evaporation. At last the low-B and low-P polysilicon evaporated on the deposit board is collected. In the equipment used, the vacuum cover and vacuum circular cylinder constitutes the shell of the device; the inner part of vacuum circular cylinder is the vacuum chamber, which is formed by the left and right part and divided by the separation plate. This method effectively improves the purity of the polysilicon and achieves the requirements for solar grade silicon with perfect purification effect, stable technology, and high efficiency.

  • Patent number: 8243991
Abstract: A system and method for detecting a target in imagery is disclosed. At least one image region exhibiting changes in at least intensity is detected from among at least a pair of aligned images. A distribution of changes in at least intensity inside the at least one image region is determined using an unsupervised learning method. The distribution of changes in at least intensity is used to identify pixels experiencing changes of interest. At least one target from the identified pixels is identified using a supervised learning method. The distribution of changes in at least intensity is a joint hue and intensity histogram when the pair of images pertain to color imagery. The distribution of changes in at least intensity is an intensity histogram when the pair of images pertain to grey-level imagery.

  • Patent number: 8209464
Abstract: A management method, a management apparatus, and a controller for memory data access are provided. The management apparatus is disposed between a host and a device for managing the data transmitted between the host and the device, wherein the management apparatus includes a control unit and a storage unit. When the control unit receives a data writing command from the host, it searches for a set mapped to the data in the storage unit and updates the data in the set. Then, the control unit collects the other parts of the data in the storage unit and the device, integrates all parts of the data, and writes the integrated data into the device. Accordingly, the efficiency in data transmission can be improved, and the number of data writing operations can be reduced so that the lifespan of the device can be prolonged.
