    Abstract: A method of determining the likelihood that a subject with cancer will respond to an immunotherapy comprising a checkpoint inhibitor. The method comprises detecting the level of histamine in a biological sample obtained from the subject. Subjects determined to have a low likelihood of responding to the immunotherapy can be administered an alternative therapy or administered an antihistamine in conjunction with the immunotherapy. Methods of treating cancer patients are also provided, as are kits and systems for histamine detection, recordation, and responder status determination.

    Abstract: Provided are an enzyme immobilization carrier and a preparation method therefor, and an immobilized enzyme and a preparation method therefor. The enzyme immobilization carrier includes a resin ball matrix, an —N(CH2OOH)2 group linked on the resin ball matrix by means of a chemical bond, and a metal ion adsorbed on the —N(CH2OOH)2 group in a chelating manner through coordination. The resin ball matrix is an amino-type methacrylic resin and/or an epoxy-type methacrylic resin, and the resin ball matrix has a particle size of 200-700 ?m. Therefore, the problems in the related art that an enzyme immobilization carrier is relatively poor in enzyme compatibility and poor in immobilization effect, and an immobilized enzyme is relatively poor in activity, and relatively poor in stability during repeated use are solved.

    Abstract: A calculation method for fractal dimensions of shale pores includes steps as follows. S1: multiple shale samples from a target stratum of a study area are obtained, parameter values of geological parameters of each of the multiple shale samples are obtained, followed by dividing the multiple shale samples into target shale samples and experimental shale samples. S2: PCA is performed on the parameter values to obtain principal components representing a variation of the geological parameters. fractal dimensions are calculated based on an existing fractal dimension calculation method. S3: the principal components are used as independent variables and the fractal dimensions are used as dependent variables, followed by performing regression analysis to obtain a quantitative calculation model. S4: the fractal dimensions of the target shale sample are calculated according to the parameter values and the quantitative calculation model for the fractal dimension based on the parameter values.

    Abstract: This invention introduces a kinetic energy recovery wind-wave integrated system for offshore wind power generation. The system consists of a semi-submersible platform equipped with a fan and an internal wave energy device. The device includes a shell housing a Power Take-Off (PTO) system, featuring a permanent magnet synchronous linear motor and an active controller. The motor's stator is fixed inside the shell, while its mover is connected to a counterweight block outside the stator, linked to the shell's top via a spring. Limiters are installed at both ends of the shell to restrict the counterweight block's movement. This system utilizes the wave energy device to absorb kinetic energy, which otherwise affects wind turbine stability, and converts it into usable electrical energy via the PTO system. This enhances the stability and safety of offshore wind turbine power generation.

    Abstract: Provided are an esterase mutant and the use thereof. The esterase mutant obtained by means of rational design and several rounds of evolution screening with enzymes on the basis of an amino acid sequence as shown in SEQ ID NO: 1 is changed in terms of protein structure and function compared with a wild-type esterase; in practical use, the catalytic activity and/or stereoselectivity of the esterase mutant is greatly improved; and when a system contains some organic cosolvents, the esterase mutant still has relatively stable catalytic activity and/or stereoselectivity. In addition, the improvement of the catalytic activity and/or stereoselectivity of the esterase mutant reduces the use amount of the enzyme to a certain extent and reduces the difficulty of post-treatment, and therefore the esterase mutant is suitable for industrial production.
