Abstract: A detachable guiding mechanism is selectively disposed inside an electronic device and located above a half-height expansion card of the electronic device. The detachable guiding mechanism includes a bridging component and a guiding component. The bridging component includes at least one connecting portion. The guiding component is detachably assembled with the bridging component. The guiding component includes a contacting surface, a first guiding surface, a second guiding surface and at least one fixing portion. The contacting surface contacts against or abuts adjacent to an upper edge of the half-height expansion card since the detachable guiding mechanism is located above the half-height expansion card. The first guiding surface and the second guiding surface are connected to the contacting surface to respectively form a first angle and a second angle. The fixing portion is disposed on the connecting portion to detachably assemble the guiding component with the bridging component.

  • Patent number: 8412480
Abstract: The invention provides a method for determining the angular magnitude of an imaging acquiring apparatus, which is capable of obtaining an arranging angular magnitude with respect to the imaging acquiring apparatus in various environments by an iteration algorithm having parameters of position of a calibrating tool with respect to an image coordinate system and characteristic value corresponding to a spatial coordinate system respectively. Meanwhile, the present further provides a vehicle collision warning system which functions to obtain the relative distance between the carrier and objects around according to the image acquired by the imaging acquiring apparatus and the angular magnitude and height of the imaging acquiring apparatus. By means of the method disclosed in the present invention, the procedure to detect the angular magnitude of the image acquiring apparatus is more convenient and accurate such that the convenience for using the vehicle collision warning system is capable of being improved.

  • Publication number: 20070111563
Abstract: A connector has a cable module, a sleeve, and a case body. The cable module has a printed circuit board, a cable, and an insulating member. The printed circuit board has a plurality of electric pads disposed at a front thereof. The cable has an outer layer structure and a plurality of conducting wires. The insulating member is molded on the conducting wires and a front of the outer layer structure. The conducting wires are electrically connected to a rear of the printed circuit board. The sleeve is disposed around the outer layer structure of the cable and behind the insulating member. The case body forms a front opening in a front thereof. The case body forms a locking portion therein. The electric pads disposed at the front of the printed circuit board are located in the front opening, and the sleeve is positioned at the locking portion.

  • Patent number: 7210944
Abstract: A connector for electrically connecting to a mating connector has a circuit board, a cable, and a support member. The circuit board has a front portion, a mid portion, and a rear portion. The front portion has a plurality of conductive pads for electrically contacting electrical portions of the mating connector. The rear portion has a plurality of soldering pads. The cable has a plurality of wires. The wires are soldered onto the soldering pads. The mid portion and the rear portion of the circuit board are embedded into the support member via a manner of insert-molding. As a result, the circuit board will not loosen from the support member, and the connection between the soldering pads of the circuit board and the wires of the cable is reliable.

  • Publication number: 20070093114
Abstract: A resilient latching device is mounted on an electrical connector for latching onto a mating connector. The resilient latching device has a mounting portion, a pressing portion, and a latching portion. The mounting portion is fixed on a top face of an insulative housing of the electrical connector. The pressing portion defines a fixing end and a free end at a rear end and a front end thereof, respectively. The fixing end is integrally connected to the mounting portion. The pressing portion forms a bulgy shape corresponding to the top face of the insulative housing. The latching portion is integrally connected to the free end of the pressing portion and extends forward. As a result, the electrical connector can be smoothly separated from the mating connector, and deformation of the latching portion and wear and tear of the insulative housing of the mating connector are avoided.
