  • Patent number: 10621505
Abstract: There is disclosed a computer-implemented cloud computing scoring system. In an embodiment, a parser receives unstructured sentiment data commenting on a scored service. The parser identifies in the unstructured sentiment data a service category of the scored service. The parser selects from the unstructured sentiment data text relating to the service category and matching one or more opinionative words and phrases listed in a keyword dictionary, thereby producing a structured comment associated with the service category. The structured comment is classified as positive or negative according to a list of exemplary sentiment data sets contained in a learning seed file. The exemplary sentiment data sets are manually assigned a positive or a negative polarity. The learning seed file is configured for enhancement by the ongoing addition of structured sentiment data, the structured sentiment data commenting on the scored service and having a polarity classification.

  • Patent number: 10598816
Abstract: Disclosed embodiments include systems and methods of correcting induction logging data for relative dip. Initial induction logging data is measured at a plurality of frequencies. One example embodiment includes displaying dip corrected data for a plurality of different relative dip angles, which may further be displayed with a qualitative indicator displayed over many depth samples for selecting or validating a correct relative dip angle. The data may be iteratively processed using an automated relative dip correction algorithm and analyzed by the user to obtain and apply the best relative dip correction angle to induction logging data. Once dip corrected, the induction logging data can be used with resistivity methodologies generally designed for instances where no dip is present in the formation under analysis.

  • Publication number: 20200082492
Abstract: A graphics processing unit (GPU) is provided. The GPU includes a command stream parser (CSP). The CSP receives a command list from a display driver and parses commands in the command list to determine a rendering mode of the GPU and perform a graphics rendering pipeline for graphics processing according to the rendering mode. When the CSP determines that at least a specific CSP command is not included in the command list, the CSP determines that the rendering mode is a first rendering mode. When the CSP determines that the specific CSP command is included in the command list, the CSP determines that the rendering mode is a second rendering mode. In the second rendering mode, the CSP divides a rendering target into tiles, obtains first drawing commands from the command list according to the specific CSP command, and executes the first drawing commands for each tile.

  • Publication number: 20200082493
Abstract: A graphics processing unit (GPU) is provided. The GPU includes a command stream parser (CSP) including a profiling unit used to provide performance statistics data for the GPU to determine a rendering mode of the GPU, wherein the rendering mode includes a first rendering mode and a second rendering mode for performing a graphics rendering pipeline for graphics processing. The profiling unit calculates drawing time of frames and the number of objects in the frames when the GPU operates in the first rendering mode, and determines whether the operation of the GPU is switched to the second rendering mode according to the calculated drawing time and the number of objects; when determining that the calculated drawing time and the number of objects are less than their respective thresholds, the CSP causes the operation of the GPU to switch from the first rendering mode to the second rendering mode.

  • Publication number: 20200063754
Abstract: An integrated structure of a return device and a pressure diffuser, and a centrifugal compressor are provided. The structure includes a pressure diffuser portion and a return device portion integrally molded with the pressure diffuser portion. The pressure diffuser portion is configured to form a pressure diffusion flow channel. The return device portion has a return channel. The return channel is in communication with the pressure diffusion flow channel, and is configured to guide gas from the pressure diffusion flow channel. The structure of the present invention eliminates a need of independently installing a return device and a pressure diffuser, and eliminates connection seams caused by assembly and misalignment caused by accumulated errors. Therefore, gas can smoothly flow through the pressure diffusion flow channel into the return channel, such that a gas flow is well guided, and the gas flow uniformity is better.

  • Patent number: 10572770
Abstract: To address the needs of applications that work with large-scale unstructured point clouds and other noisy data (e.g. image and video data), tangent convolution of 3D data represents 3D data as tangent planes. Tangent convolution estimates tangent planes for each 3D data point in one or more channels of 3D data. Tangent convolution further computes the tangent image signals for the estimated tangent planes. Tangent convolution precomputes the tangent planes and tangent image signals to enable convolution to be performed with greater efficiency and better performance than can be achieved with other 3D data representations.

  • Patent number: 10544778
Abstract: A method is provided of protecting a wind turbine with a doubly-fed induction generator (DFIG) against a sub-synchronous resonance (SSR) event acting on the wind turbine. A plurality of power-output values or current-output values is measured over a given period of time that corresponds to a measurement cycle. It is determined whether power-output values or current-output-values measured in the at-least-one measurement cycle are indicative of an SSR-event critical for further operation of the wind turbine. The wind turbine is shut down if the measured power-output values or current-output values are indeed indicative of an SSR-event critical for operation of the wind turbine.
