Abstract: The techniques disclosed herein provide a set of tools that help event organizers better prepare for important events by facilitating features of rehearsal sessions. In some configurations, a system can create a rehearsal session in the process of setting up a meeting. Thus, if a meeting organizer is setting up a company all-hands meeting, the tools provide options that allow event organizers to setup multiple rehearsal sessions effortlessly in the event scheduling flow. The tools enable a system to perform tests that simulate event attendees. This allows an organizer to test specific user activity involving each users' experience in joining a meeting or performing common attendee behaviors like a virtual hand raise or a reaction. The system also provides intelligent technical checks that automatically test each presenter's device settings and displays real-time telemetry data to effectively communicate any performance issues to a meeting organizer.

The lifespan of such configurations on each device is limited to the duration of the event or associated activities, such as rehearsal, and will automatically revert back to previous pre-batch configuration settings outside the event or once the event ends. In such embodiments, a system can control batch configurations for devices during a rehearsal, then reverts the devices to a pre-batch configuration after the rehearsal and the event. A method for controlling batch configurations of a plurality of computing devices associated with a communication session can select computers of people having pre-determined roles, e.g., presenters, organizers, audience members. The system can configure a subset of devices of the plurality of computing devices to operate using a pre-batch configuration. The system reverts to the batch configuration after a second condition is determined for an event.

The disclosed techniques include a number of types of commands that are used to control the movement of an avatar and control access to a number of select audio streams for a computer of a user. The system moves the avatar from an original position to a second position near or within a graphical representation of the subgroup in response to the command. Access to audio streams can be modified to be bidirectional or unidirectional in response to the command.

In particular, in one or more embodiments, the disclosed systems and methods generate digital visual codes that embed information regarding a user account of a payor (i.e., a user account of the payor within a social networking system). In one or more embodiments, the disclosed systems and methods display the digital visual codes via a payor computing device, scan the digital visual codes via a payee computing device, and send an identifier of the payor to the social networking system based on scanning the digital visual codes. For example, one or more implementations involve recommending potential lenders likely to loan money to a user requesting a peer-to-peer loan transaction. One or more embodiments of the message system provide a loan request message to a potential lender. Additionally, one or more embodiments receive an acceptance of the requested loan transaction and initiate the loan transaction by transferring a loan amount from a payment credential of the potential lender to the user.
