  • Publication number: 20230376729
Abstract: Aspects concern a method for training a neural network, comprising forming an autoencoder comprising the neural network as encoder and comprising a decoder, for each training image of multiple training images, generating a latent representation of the training image by the encoder, transforming the training image and supplying information about the transformation and at least a part of the latent representation to the decoder to generate a decoder output for the training image and adjusting the encoder and the decoder to reduce a loss between the transformed training images and the decoder outputs.

  • Publication number: 20230196184
Abstract: In an embodiment, a first machine learning (ML) model is trained using a first portion of a training data set and a second ML model is trained using a second portion of the training data set. A prediction on data samples in the second portion by the first ML model is used to correct labels on noisy data samples in the second portion. A prediction on data samples in the first portion by the second ML model is used to correct labels on noisy data samples in the first portion. The first and second ML models are retrained after the labels of the noisy data samples have been replaced with corrective labels. After a number of iterations in retraining, the cross-label-correction may be performed again. After a certain number of cross-label-corrections, the training data in the first portion and the second portion is swapped to further train the models.

  • Patent number: 11256703
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide improved techniques for determining long term relevance and user behavior using query chains. The query chains may first be detected and then annotated into different types of chains based at least in part on various decision rules, machine-learned classifiers, and inter-query relationships. The query chains may then be subsequently used to train models for predicting user behavior and providing more relevant results to a user's queries. A content provider system according to various embodiments may aggregate historical data associated with previous search and/or transaction data, which may be analyzed to detect query chains, for example, whether queries are chained to each other. Determining whether queries are chained to each other may involve incorporating decision rules and reformulation models, analyzing temporal windows between queries, and/or analyzing inter-query relationships.
