  • Patent number: 10563569
Abstract: A diesel combustion system including a piston, an annular impinging block, and a combustion chamber. The combustion chamber is divided by the annular impinging block into an upper chamber and a lower chamber. The annular impinging block includes a lower guide surface that is adjacent to the lower chamber and that extends from a trough line connected to the piston to a crest line. The ratios among the inner diameter of the top of the piston, the outer diameter of the top of the piston, the diameter of the trough line, and the diameter of the crest line define the shape of the combustion chamber which leads to increased rate of combustion, reduced soot emission, and increased fuel efficiency.

  • Patent number: 10257108
Abstract: A full-duplex (FD) capable access point (AP) of a wireless basic service set (BSS) that includes a plurality of stations (STAs) is configured to implement opportunistic FD downlink (DL) transmissions to a non-FD capable STA in the BSS when decoding uplink (UL) data from a UL STA in the BSS. While decoding the UL data, the AP selects a DL STA from a queue of DL STAs based on a predetermined FD DL transmission rate from the AP to the DL STA while the AP is decoding the UL data from the UL STA. The AP then causes an amount of data to be transmitted as an FD transmission to the selected DL STA while the processor is decoding the data from the UL STA.

  • Patent number: 10242364
Abstract: A user can be authenticated to a mobile computing device using an authentication process that recognizes the user and verifies that an actual human being is attempting to be authenticated, in order to minimize the ability of another person to spoof the authentication process. A model of a user can be generated and stored in the cloud, enabling that model to be synchronized across various devices. A user accessing one of these devices can have infrared image information captured, which can be used with a facial recognition process, to recognize the user, and with a human verification process, to verify that the facial information corresponds to a human user. Various approaches such as visual analysis and thermal imaging can be used to verify that the human user being recognized is interactive with the device.

  • Patent number: 9934504
Abstract: A transaction is authorized using an authentication process that prompts the user to perform an action in view of a camera or sensor. The process identifies the user and verifies that the user requesting the transaction is a living human being. The user is identified using image information which is processed utilizing facial recognition. The device verifies that the image information corresponds to a living human using one or more human-verification processes. The device prompts the user to perform an action to confirm the transaction, and causes the transaction to be performed after verifying performance of the action by the identified user.

  • Publication number: 20150053172
Abstract: A diesel combustion system including an injector and a combustion chamber. The combustion chamber is formed by a cylinder head, a cylinder liner, and a piston. The combustion chamber includes an upper layer and a lower layer. The diameter D1 of the upper layer is larger than the diameter D2 of the lower layer. A junction of the upper layer and the lower layer is provided with an impinging block for rebounding the diesel fuel spray. The impinging block includes an impinging surface, an upper guide surface, and a lower guide surface. When in use, part of the diesel fuel spray is rebounded by the impinging surface, and part of the diesel fuel spray is diffused along the upper guide surface and the lower guide surface of the impinging block to achieve double-layered split flow of the diesel fuel.
