    Abstract: Embodiments of this application disclose example communication port management methods and example related devices to manage a plurality of communication ports on a communication device connection panel. One example method includes obtaining at least two local images of the communication device connection panel, where each local image corresponds to one local area of the communication device connection panel, and where each of the plurality of communication ports is attached with a port label that identifies each communication port. An overall port information matrix of the communication device connection panel is generated based on the at least two local images, where the overall port information matrix indicates a port identifier of each communication port in the plurality of communication ports and a relative location of each communication port in an overall area of the communication device connection panel. Communication port management is performed based on the overall port information matrix.

    Abstract: Examples of dual core connectors and connection systems are disclosed. In an implementation, a dual core connector comprises a plug assembly and an engagement assembly, the plug assembly comprises a housing and ferrules. The housing has a through hole that penetrates through a first surface and an opposing second surface of the housing. The ferrules are both located within the housing and extend in the length direction of the housing, and axes of the ferrules are separately located at two sides of the through hole. The engagement assembly comprises an engagement member and a shaft body, one end of the shaft body is connected to the engagement member, and the other end of the shaft body is rotatably connected within the through hole, and when the shaft body is rotated relative to the housing into a locked position, the shaft body and the housing can lock together.

    Abstract: An optical fiber distribution device includes a distribution portion, a connector retracting portion, and a robot system. The distribution portion comprises an optical fiber adapter, wherein the optical fiber adapter is configured to connect to a first optical fiber connector connected to a first optical fiber. The connector retracting portion is configured to accommodate the first optical fiber connector and the first optical fiber connected to the first optical fiber connector. The robot system is configured to remove a target optical fiber connector from an initial optical fiber adapter, retract the target optical fiber connector and a second optical fiber connected to the target optical fiber connector to the connector retracting portion, and remove the target optical fiber connector from the connector retracting portion and insert the target optical fiber connector into a target optical fiber adapter.
