    Abstract: A long-distance lane change planning of an ADV is performed. A driving environment is perceived based on sensor data obtained from a plurality of sensors mounted on an ADV, including obtaining information of one or more obstacles on an adjacent lane. In response to a request to make a lane change from a current lane on which the ADV is driving to the adjacent lane, an S-V map is generated based on the information of the one or more obstacles. Each point on the S-V map represents a state of the ADV including a distance and a speed of the ADV. A trajectory of the ADV is generated using dynamic programming based on the S-V map. The ADV is controlled to drive autonomously according to the trajectory to make the lane change to the adjacent lane and avoid the one or more obstacles.

    Abstract: A foldable windproof unit, a large-span windproof net structure thereof, and a windproof method are disclosed. The foldable windproof unit comprises a flexible windproof net, towers arranged at intervals, and a load-bearing rope erected on the two towers. The tower on one side is provided with a horizontal pulley assembly, and the tower on the other side is provided with two vertical pulleys. The top edge of the flexible windproof net is slidably connected to the load-bearing rope by means of a plurality of hanging structures. The foldable windproof unit further comprises a traction rope, the traction rope is arranged on the horizontal pulley assembly in a sleeving manner, and the two free ends of the traction rope extend to respectively bypass the two vertical pulleys and are connected to winding mechanism. The spacer structure is disposed on the substrate, between each of the bit lines and each of the plugs. The spacer structure includes a first air gap layer, a first spacer and a second air gap layer, and the first air gap layer, the first spacer and the second air gap layer are sequentially stacked between sidewalls of the bit lines and the plugs. Therefore, two air gap layers may be formed between the bit lines and the storage node contacts to improve the delay between the resistor and the capacitor.

    Abstract: A III-V/SiNx hybrid integrated photonics platform is described. A wafer can include regions where SiNx waveguides are formed and regions where III-V waveguides have been grown heteroepitaxially from the Si substrate and formed lithographically to butt couple to the SiNx waveguides. Efficient optical coupling is possible between the SiNx and III-V waveguides (?2.5 dB loss/transition). A threading dislocation density (TDD) as low as 4×106 cm?2 can be obtained in the III-V waveguides. The TDD enables fully parallel fabrication of integrated III-V optoelectronic devices, allowing for complex photonic integrated circuits with many active components.

    Abstract: A structural dynamic parameter identification method aided by a rPCK surrogate model comprises the following steps. Establish a finite element model that roughly reflects the structural system to be analyzed. Establish the dynamic parameter space sample set. The structural system response space sample set driven by the dynamic parameter space sample set is established by using the probabilistic finite element analysis. The robust polynomial Chaos Kriging surrogate model is obtained by mapping the dynamic parameter space sample set to the structural system response space sample set. The measured structural system response is used to drive the rPCK surrogate model, and then Bayesian inference is used to identify the structural dynamic parameters. The mean value of Bayesian posterior estimation is used as the estimated value of structural dynamic parameters. The proposed method creates conditions for establishing a high-fidelity finite element model of the actual engineering structural system.

A low noise amplifier receives the RF signal and provides an amplified signal to the modulator. The modulator converts the signal into an optical signal. The amplifier and modulator are powered by a photovoltaic array. The array receives power from a remotely located power laser. The optical signal is received by a link receiver which provides an analysis signal and an output signal. A bias logic circuit uses the analysis signal to provide an optical bias signal to an optical detector joined to modulator. The optical detector provides a responsive bias voltage to the modulator.

A signal laser provides an optical signal to the interferometer which is modulated and interfered to produce an intensity modulated optical signal. A pump laser provides an optical gain signal to the interferometer where it adds gain to the optical signal in the interferometer by interaction with the doped region of the substrate.
