  • Patent number: 9700875
Abstract: The present invention relates generally to a magnetic catalyst for wet oxidation of organic waste and the preparation method thereof. According to the present invention, after the raw materials are dissolved and mixed in water, the pH value is adjusted for producing precipitates. Then after heating, filtering, drying, grinding, sifting, and calcinations are performed, the given magnetic catalyst can be reused without losing its activity. In addition, during treating organic waste by using wet oxidation method, no secondary waste is produced. Besides, the magnetic catalyst can be recycled by magnetic devices, making it excellent in terms of performance and convenience.

  • Publication number: 20110130274
Abstract: A method for preparing radioactive-substance adsorbent depositing on a carriable structure is revealed. The method uses a supercritical fluid to mix a first solution with a carrier. The first solution includes an extractant dissolved in a first solvent. By low surface tension and high permeability of the supercritical fluid, the extractant in the first solution deposit evenly on the carrier so as to form an adsorbent. Thus the adsorbent formed provides better adsorptivity for the radioactive substances.

  • Publication number: 20100062261
Abstract: A complex with separated scintillator and photocatalyst and a manufacturing method thereof are disclosed. The complex with separated scintillator and photocatalyst includes a transparent substrate, a scintillantor layer on one side of the substrate, and a photocatalyst layer on the other side of the substrate. The manufacturing method of the complex consists of the following steps: depositing photocatalyst on one side of a transparent substrate, depositing scintillator on the other side of the transparent substrate, and sintering the transparent substrate with coatings to form a complex with separated scintillator and photocatalyst. Thus the present invention prevents the lowering of photocatalytic performance caused by contact of scintillator with photocatalyst and can be applied to produce large-area photocatalytic reactors easily.

  • Patent number: 7426125
Abstract: An adjustable compact high-frequency-high-voltage power supply utilizes an inverter to convert DC power to AC power so as to provide high frequency AC power at high voltages in a DC environment. Furthermore, the output voltage and frequency can be adjusted through adjustments of variable resistors during operation so as to provide high-frequency-high-voltage AC power at different frequencies and voltages.
