  • Publication number: 20060170184
Abstract: An electromagnetic brake device for children's vehicle is provided with an electromagnetic brake base to generate a magnetic force to drive a brake pad so as to rub against a friction brake surface on the electromagnetic base, to slow down or stop the rotation of the transmission shaft, and thereby to brake the wheel set. The brake device for children's vehicle can brake the transmission shaft directly by electromagnetism. The advantage of the present invention including to effort-saving and braking without spring element and thus can cost down and simply the assembly process.

  • Patent number: 6921870
Abstract: A shifting mechanism for electric vehicles includes an operation bar coupled with a universal joint mounting on an electric vehicle body. The operation bar may be turned and swiveled in multiple directions and has a free end movable according to preset paths of a guiding means. The operation bar may be swiveled in different directions or through the guiding means to switch circuits that control motor positive rotation and reverse rotation at high speed or low speed. Thereby a definite direction is provided to switch the direction and speed. The switches are located on different positions and arranged in low—high speed and forward (positive rotation)—backward (reverse rotation) fashion so that the backward movement can only be exercised at the low speed to avoid the risk of backward high speed condition to secure safety for children's ride-on electric vehicles.

  • Patent number: 6593721
Abstract: A connection device for charging electric vehicles provides direct electrical connection for an external source of electricity to charge the battery of an electric vehicle. It mainly comprises a movable charging terminal combined with a switch, both located on the body of an electric vehicle. When the charging terminal is moved into a position that enables an electrical connection with an external source of electricity, the switch is automatically moved into a position that cuts off electricity to the driving motor of the electric vehicle, rendering the electric vehicle incapable of being started during electric charging, thus preventing accidents from occurring.
