  • Publication number: 20240112628
Abstract: An electronic device may include a lenticular display. The lenticular display may have a lenticular lens film formed over an array of pixels. A plurality of lenticular lenses may extend across the length of the display. The lenticular lenses may be configured to enable stereoscopic viewing of the display such that a viewer perceives three-dimensional images. The display may have a number of independently controllable viewing zones. The viewer may be particularly susceptible to artifacts caused by crosstalk at the edge viewing zones within the primary field of view of the display. Certain types of content may also be more vulnerable to crosstalk than other types of content. Therefore, to mitigate crosstalk artifacts, the pixel value for each pixel may be adjusted based on the viewing zone of the respective pixel and content information (such as texture information or brightness information) associated with the respective pixel.

  • Patent number: 9501109
Abstract: A detachable guiding mechanism is selectively disposed inside an electronic device and located above a half-height expansion card of the electronic device. The detachable guiding mechanism includes a bridging component and a guiding component. The bridging component includes at least one connecting portion. The guiding component is detachably assembled with the bridging component. The guiding component includes a contacting surface, a first guiding surface, a second guiding surface and at least one fixing portion. The contacting surface contacts against or abuts adjacent to an upper edge of the half-height expansion card since the detachable guiding mechanism is located above the half-height expansion card. The first guiding surface and the second guiding surface are connected to the contacting surface to respectively form a first angle and a second angle. The fixing portion is disposed on the connecting portion to detachably assemble the guiding component with the bridging component.

  • Publication number: 20070277958
Abstract: A heat dissipator for mounting on a heat-generating element includes a heat-dissipating body, a fan assembly, a bottom stand and a top stand. The heat-dissipating body is formed into a spherical body and constituted of a plurality of heat-dissipating pieces. The heat-dissipating body is provided with a sealed accommodating space therein for accommodating the fan assembly. Further, the bottom stand and the top stand are provided at the upper and lower ends of the heat-dissipating body, respectively. Further, the bottom of the fan assembly has a connecting seat for connecting to the bottom stand to fix the fan assembly. Finally, the bottom stand is provided with a heat-conducting block for adhering to the heat-generating element, thereby to conduct the heat generated by the operation of the heat-generating element to the heat-dissipating body. In this way, the heat can be uniformly dissipated to each heat-dissipating piece.

  • Publication number: 20070240290
Abstract: A press-type fixing assembly for fixing a heat dissipator includes a seat body and a pressing body. The seat body has a bottom plate and a side plate that are connected with each other to form a L-lettered shape. Further, the bottom plate is provided with a positioning hole, and the side plate is provided with a through hole. The pressing body has a pressing plate. The lower end face of the pressing plate is connected to a post. The post correspondingly penetrates through the positioning hole, and the center of the post has a vertical partition. One end of the post has an engaging portion. With the post of the pressing body being pressed into the positioning hole of the seat body, the post can penetrate through the bottom plate via the elastic deformation of the partition. Finally, the post is engaged with the fixing hole of the connected substrate, thereby to rapidly fix the position of the heat dissipator.
