Publication number: 20240348767Abstract: A display may include an array of pixels covered by lenticular lenses. The lenticular lenses may cause expansion of light primarily in a horizontal direction. To improve the perceived resolution of the display, the horizontal resolution of the pixels on the display may be increased. In one possible layout, each pixel includes one red sub-pixel, one blue sub-pixel, and one green sub-pixel. The sub-pixels may be non-square rectangular. The sub-pixels may be the same size or may have the same widths and different heights. Each pixel may be asymmetric about a horizontal axis. In a given row, the pixels may alternate between first and second layouts. The second layout may be a vertically flipped version of the first layout.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 5, 2024Publication date: October 17, 2024Inventors: Ping-Yen Chou, ByoungSuk Kim, Cheng-Ho Yu, Fu-Chung Huang, Hao Chen, Juan He, Jun Qi, Manjap Singh, Xiaofeng Wang, Yang Li, Yi Huang, Yi-Pai Huang

Patent number: 9501109Abstract: A detachable guiding mechanism is selectively disposed inside an electronic device and located above a half-height expansion card of the electronic device. The detachable guiding mechanism includes a bridging component and a guiding component. The bridging component includes at least one connecting portion. The guiding component is detachably assembled with the bridging component. The guiding component includes a contacting surface, a first guiding surface, a second guiding surface and at least one fixing portion. The contacting surface contacts against or abuts adjacent to an upper edge of the half-height expansion card since the detachable guiding mechanism is located above the half-height expansion card. The first guiding surface and the second guiding surface are connected to the contacting surface to respectively form a first angle and a second angle. The fixing portion is disposed on the connecting portion to detachably assemble the guiding component with the bridging component.Type: GrantFiled: October 26, 2014Date of Patent: November 22, 2016Assignee: Wistron CorporationInventors: Shih-Huai Cho, Yi-Yu Chang, Yu-Han Chen, Yi-He Huang

Publication number: 20070277958Abstract: A heat dissipator for mounting on a heat-generating element includes a heat-dissipating body, a fan assembly, a bottom stand and a top stand. The heat-dissipating body is formed into a spherical body and constituted of a plurality of heat-dissipating pieces. The heat-dissipating body is provided with a sealed accommodating space therein for accommodating the fan assembly. Further, the bottom stand and the top stand are provided at the upper and lower ends of the heat-dissipating body, respectively. Further, the bottom of the fan assembly has a connecting seat for connecting to the bottom stand to fix the fan assembly. Finally, the bottom stand is provided with a heat-conducting block for adhering to the heat-generating element, thereby to conduct the heat generated by the operation of the heat-generating element to the heat-dissipating body. In this way, the heat can be uniformly dissipated to each heat-dissipating piece.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 1, 2006Publication date: December 6, 2007Inventor: Yi-He Huang

Publication number: 20070240290Abstract: A press-type fixing assembly for fixing a heat dissipator includes a seat body and a pressing body. The seat body has a bottom plate and a side plate that are connected with each other to form a L-lettered shape. Further, the bottom plate is provided with a positioning hole, and the side plate is provided with a through hole. The pressing body has a pressing plate. The lower end face of the pressing plate is connected to a post. The post correspondingly penetrates through the positioning hole, and the center of the post has a vertical partition. One end of the post has an engaging portion. With the post of the pressing body being pressed into the positioning hole of the seat body, the post can penetrate through the bottom plate via the elastic deformation of the partition. Finally, the post is engaged with the fixing hole of the connected substrate, thereby to rapidly fix the position of the heat dissipator.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 24, 2007Publication date: October 18, 2007Inventors: Chih-Peng Liao, Yi-He Huang
