    Abstract: Intelligent process management is provided. A start time is determined for an additional process to be run on a worker node within a duration of a sleep state of a task of a process already running on the worker node by adding a first defined buffer time to a determined start time of the sleep state of the task. A backfill time is determined for the additional process by subtracting a second defined buffer time from a determined end time of the sleep state of the task. A scheduling plan is generated for the additional process based on the start time and the backfill time corresponding to the additional process. The scheduling plan is executed to run the additional process on the worker node according to the start time and the backfill time corresponding to the additional process.

    Abstract: The present invention provides a light guiding structure, a display device having the same and a manufacturing method therefor. The light guiding structure includes: a light guiding layer; and a reflecting layer including a reflecting material and a substrate having a first surface and a second surface, wherein the first surface of the substrate has at least one micro-structure, and the reflecting material at least partially covers the first surface of the substrate to form the reflecting layer. The manufacturing method includes: providing a substrate having a first surface and forming at least one micro-structure on the first surface of the substrate by a roll embossing process to form a reflecting layer; providing a light guiding layer having a bottom surface; and providing a bonding layer configured to bond the bottom surface of the light guiding layer and the first surface of the reflecting layer together.

    Abstract: In a closed-loop monitoring system, a host device is operable to output encoded signals at a coupling side to a single transmission line. Each of monitoring devices includes: a current inducting generating unit generating induced encoded signals when the encoded signals pass through a signal current generating element coupled across an input side coupled to the transmission line; a control unit identifying a monitoring signal from the induced encoded signals generated by the current inducting generating unit; and a detecting unit detecting, in response to the monitoring signal, whether each of electronic devices coupled thereto is activated ox deactivated and transmitting a reply signal associated with states of the electronic devices to the transmission line based on a detection result made thereby. The host device receives the reply signal from each monitoring device through the transmission line and the coupling side to obtain state information associated with the electronic devices.

    Abstract: An electric cling film cutter includes a base provided with a positioning frame, an auxiliary rotating rod and a driving device including a motor and a driving wheel unit. The base is assembled with a delivery wheel having its surface disposed with elongate flutes and plural guide grooves and one side provided with a driven rotating wheel engaged with the driving wheel unit. A cutter positioned before the delivery wheel contains a frame plate, a motor, a belt and a cutter base. The frame plate is provided with idle wheels parallel to and leaning on the delivery wheel. A stripping guide plate is positioned under the delivery wheel, having its upper end formed with plural protruding parting members respectively aligned to the guide grooves on the delivery wheel for pushing the cling film delivered to separate from the surface of the delivery wheel, convenient and safe in use.
