Publication number: 20240111588Abstract: Intelligent process management is provided. A start time is determined for an additional process to be run on a worker node within a duration of a sleep state of a task of a process already running on the worker node by adding a first defined buffer time to a determined start time of the sleep state of the task. A backfill time is determined for the additional process by subtracting a second defined buffer time from a determined end time of the sleep state of the task. A scheduling plan is generated for the additional process based on the start time and the backfill time corresponding to the additional process. The scheduling plan is executed to run the additional process on the worker node according to the start time and the backfill time corresponding to the additional process.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 29, 2022Publication date: April 4, 2024Inventors: Jing Jing Wei, Yue Wang, Shu Jun Tang, Yang Kang, Yi Fan Wu, Qi Han Zheng, Jia Lin Wang

Patent number: 10598633Abstract: An ultrasonic sensing device includes a support body and an ultrasonic sensor. The support body includes an accommodating space, and a positioning space at a center of the accommodating space. The ultrasonic sensor includes a body portion in the positioning space, at least one sensing channel portion extending from the body portion and in the accommodating space, at least one piezoelectric unit at one end surface of the sensing channel portion, and a second channel passing through the body portion. An inner diameter of the positioning space is greater than an inner diameter of the accommodating space, and an outer diameter of the sensing channel portion is smaller than the inner diameter of the accommodating space. Thus, a gap is formed between the sensing channel portion and the accommodating space, and the piezoelectric unit is located outside the accommodating space to come into contact with an exterior.Type: GrantFiled: March 12, 2018Date of Patent: March 24, 2020Assignee: NATIONAL TAIPEI UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGYInventors: Che-Hua Yang, Yi-Lin Wu, Chin-Chi Cheng

Publication number: 20090236692Abstract: The present invention relates to a RC filtering device, consists of: a lower substrate, a first intermediate substrate, a second intermediate substrate and an upper substrate. On top surface of the lower substrate is a cross form electrode layer. At both ends of the electrode layer in one direction forms a pair of air gaps to function as over voltage protection. The first intermediate substrate is formed above the lower substrate also has a pair of grooves corresponding to said air gaps, and on the top surface of the second intermediate layer, there is a transmission wire. The said transmission wire is formed with metallic layer at its both ends and the metallic oxide layer made with electrical resistance, this transmission wire and the electrode layer on the lower substrate form an RC filtering device.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 24, 2008Publication date: September 24, 2009Inventors: Sheng-Fu Su, Hui-Ming Feng, Yi-Lin Wu

Publication number: 20050177721Abstract: A file management system is used in a peer-to-peer file-share mechanism. The file management system is used for managing at least one file transmitted between at least one data terminal and at least one abstracting terminal via networking. The data terminal stores the file and a searching data corresponding to the file. The searching data comprises a characteristic data of the file and a location of the file. After the characteristic data is chosen at the abstracting terminal, the abstracting terminal traces the location via networking, couples to the data terminal, and further abstracts the file corresponding to the characteristic data. The data terminal uses an encryption module to encrypt the file to an encryption file. A software package is used for conveniently transmitting the file to the abstracting terminal. Thus, the software package can decrypt the encryption file to the file for a user subsequently to use at the abstracting terminal.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 1, 2004Publication date: August 11, 2005Inventors: I-Ta Wu, Yi-Lin Wu, Shih-Jong Su, Kuo-Lung Chang

Publication number: 20030074322Abstract: A peer-to-peer digital copyright management method and system are disclosed. The invention uses a network with a peer-to-peer connection structure. Each workstation has equivalent abilities and responsibilities. This style is distinguished from the client/server structure, where some computers are assigned to service other computers. In general, the peer-to-peer network is simpler. It does not need to be equivalent to the strong execution abilities and bandwidths of the client/server network. However, it has the drawback of being hard to manage. The invention combines all advantages of the peer-to-peer network platform and the client/server structure. In addition to providing a search share system, which can peer-to-peer rapidly distribute digital contents, it further provides an effective copyright management system which strictly controls file sharing and downloads. Network service points or equivalent currencies for each shared file download are accurately obtained from the download user.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 31, 2001Publication date: April 17, 2003Applicant: Siriuz.
