  • Patent number: 7889550
Abstract: A control driver for non-volatile memory includes a driving circuit, a level shift up circuit, and a select circuit. The select circuit receives a plurality of decoding signals, asserts a select signal when all of the decoding signals are asserted, and does not assert the select signal when any of the decoding signals is not asserted. The level shift up circuit receives the select signal, outputs the pull-up signal at a first voltage when the select signal is asserted, and outputs the pull-up signal at a second voltage when the select signal is not asserted. The driving circuit has a pull-up transistor for pulling up a control line signal according to the pull-up signal, and a pull-down transistor for pulling down the control line signal according to the pull-up signal.

  • Patent number: 7884619
Abstract: Delay associated with each of two signals along respective transmission paths is accurately measured using a delay measurement circuit that is fabricated in situ on the actual device where the circuitry for propagating the two signals is fabricated. Thus, the measured delay associated with each of the two signals is subject to the same fabrication-dependent attributes that affect the actual circuitry through which the two signals will be propagated during operation of the device. The skew between the two signals is quantified as the difference in the measured delays. Coarse and fine delay modules are defined within the transmission path of each of the two signals. Based on the measured skew between the two signals, the coarse and fine delay modules are appropriately set to compensate for the skew. The appropriately settings for the coarse and fine delay modules can be stored in non-volatile memory elements.

  • Publication number: 20100111798
Abstract: An apparatus for removing vinyl monomers from a gas stream includes a tube, a shading casing and a light emitting unit. The tube includes a first section having a connecting port with an opening, a second section, and a third section having an outlet. The three sections sequentially link together, with the second section connecting between the first section and the third section. A photoactive-inorganic medium is arranged inside the second section. The shading casing surrounds and seals the second section and an inner surface of the shading casing defines a reflecting face. The light emitting unit is mounted to the shading casing to irradiate and activate the photoactive-inorganic medium in the second section. Accordingly, the photoactive-inorganic medium can be activated by the light emitting unit to photocatalyze vinyl monomers in a gas stream to polymerize on surfaces of the photoactive-inorganic medium, such that vinyl monomers are removed.

  • Publication number: 20090099501
Abstract: The present invention provides a device and a method for effectively processing epidural anesthesia by providing the needle-localization information in real time. The idea of this invention is derived from the concept that different tissues due to their different composition have different optical properties, such as absorbance and reflection, so we can discriminate the tissue types where the needle reaches by their distinctive optical properties. In this device, the inner solid needle of the puncture needle used before is replaced by a hollow needle which filled with optical fibers, and the distal end of those optical fibers are connected with two light sources of different wavelengths and a light analyzer. Thus, while qualifying and comparing the optical properties of those tissues, these device and method can be very helpful during epidural anesthesia and also reduce the risk of the surgery.
