Abstract: An engaging assembly includes a housing, which has a recess provided on an outer surface thereof, and a slide member movably provided on the housing. The recess has a protrusion and a pushing portion provided in, wherein the protrusion extends out of the outer surface. After the engaging assembly is inserted into a base of an electronic device, the protrusion is in a securing hole of an elastic piece of the base, which prevents the engaging assembly from being disengaged from the base. The slide member has at least one extension arm located beside the protrusion. When the slide member is moved, an end of the extension arm is pushed by the pushing portion, so that the end projecting from the outer surface for a greater height than the protrusion does. The end then pushes the elastic piece to allow the engaging assembly to be disengaged from the base.

Abstract: A pluggable guiding apparatus is used for an opening of a case and there are two guiding elements arranged at two sides of the opening. The pluggable guiding apparatus includes: a main frame, wherein the size of the main frame is corresponding to the opening of the case and the main frame is divided into a plurality of sub-slot openings; and a plurality of sub-guiding elements arranged on the main frame, wherein the sub-guiding elements are arranged on two sides of the sub-slot openings, and the sub-guiding elements and guiding elements are set face to face for guiding a plurality of pluggable sub-modules to be inserted into the case.

Abstract: A fixing mechanism for quick release card is disclosed. The fixing mechanism consists of a main body, at least one fixing member and at least one locating element. The main body is an elastic body with the fixing member arranged on one end thereof. The fixing member can be arranged above a fixing hole on a motherboard with expansion slots for mini peripherals while the locating element is disposed on inner side of the main body. After a Mini-PCI card being disposed into a corresponding slot, the locating element locates the card so that the card is disposed firmly on the motherboard. Thus malfunction of the card due to falling of the card caused by external forces after being assembled is avoided.

Abstract: An electronic product (such as a switch) having an airflow-guiding structure and a method for fabricating the airflow-guiding structure thereof are disclosed, and are featured in using an industrial double-faced adhesive tape to mount a plastic airflow-guiding plate made of flame retardant grade of polypropylene in the housing, thereby forming an airflow path used for allowing air to flow from air inlets of a housing through an electronic element located in the housing, thus providing heat-dissipation function for the electronic element.
