  • Patent number: 6573633
Abstract: A stator assembly comprises upper and lower pole plates or silicon steel sheets each having a plurality of radial poles. Each radial pole includes a magnetic pole face extending along a direction parallel to a longitudinal direction. The magnetic pole faces of each upper pole plate, each lower pole plate, or each silicon steel sheet may be of the same or different length. Alternatively, the magnetic pole faces may be overlapped with each other or not overlapped with each other. The overall magnetic pole face formed by the magnetic pole faces may be so arranged to represent a step-like structure or an inclined side.

  • Patent number: 6538357
Abstract: A direct current brushless motor of a radial air-gap includes a rotor having a rotation shaft rotated in a magnetic conducting tube of the stator. The magnetic conducting tube has an outer wall combined with a coil seat. The coil seat has two ends respectively mounted with an upper pole plate and a lower pole plate. Each of the upper pole plate and the lower pole plate has a periphery having upper pole faces and/or lower pole faces respectively extended upward and downward therefrom. The pole faces of the upper pole plate and the lower pole plate are arranged in a staggered manner. The pole faces encompassing the coil seat are formed with larger openings for allowing pull out of a distal end of a coating wire of the coil seat.

  • Publication number: 20020149285
Abstract: A brushless DC motor comprises a pole through which an end of a magnetically conductive tube that is fixed to a tube on a casing extends. A bobbin includes a central hole through which the magnetically conductive tube extends. The bobbin has a winding wound therearound, the winding having terminals electrically connected to contacts of a drive device. A central shaft of a rotor is rotatably mounted in the magnetically conductive tube. A round top of the rotor has a magnetic disc securely attached thereto. A metal disc is mounted between the magnet disc and the round top of the rotor. The magnet disc and the pole edges of the pole and the pole edges of the magnetically conductive tube are repulsive to each other, and the drive device varies polarities of the pole edges to thereby drive the rotor.
