  • Publication number: 20230296493
Abstract: Methods of determining an ideal gain for a detector in a light detection system of a flow cytometer are provided. Methods of interest include irradiating a flow stream with light from a light source, incrementally increasing the gain of the detector such that the detector collects light from the flow stream at each of a plurality of successively increasing gains, obtaining a baseline noise level from the detector at each gain in the plurality of successively increasing gains, calculating a limit of detection (LoD) for each gain in the plurality of successively increasing gains, and assessing the calculated LoDs to determine the ideal gain. Systems and computer readable storage media for practicing the invention are also provided.

  • Publication number: 20230296516
Abstract: Artificial intelligence driven signal enhancement of sequencing images enables enhanced sequencing by synthesis that determines a sequence of bases in genetic material with any one or more of: improved performance, improved accuracy, and/or reduced cost. A training set of images taken at unreduced and reduced power levels used to excite fluorescence during sequencing by synthesis is used to train a neural network to enable the neural network to recover enhanced images, as if taken at the unreduced power level, from unenhanced images taken at the reduced power level.

  • Publication number: 20230260096
Abstract: Artificial intelligence driven enhancement of motion blurred sequencing images enables enhanced sequencing that determines a sequence of bases in genetic material with any one or more of: improved performance, improved accuracy, and/or reduced cost. A training set of images taken after unreduced and reduced movement settling times during sequencing is used to train a neural network to enable the neural network to recover enhanced images, as if taken after the unreduced movement settling time, from unenhanced images taken after the reduced movement settling time.

  • Patent number: 11638696
Abstract: The present invention provides a method for preparing an additive-free cell-wall-broken granule of a Chinese medicinal material. The cell-wall-broken granule is obtained by medicinal material concocting and grinding, first cell-wall-breaking and grinding, screening, second wall-breaking and grinding, mixing, pelleting, and granulating and sieving. The obtained granule has a moderate tightness, a relatively rapid dissolution and diffusion and a good uniformity, overcoming problems of a difficulty of dissolution and diffusion and a poor uniformity of the existing cell-wall-broken granules.

  • Publication number: 20220414901
Abstract: Disclosed is a real-time detection method of a block motion based on a feature point recognition, including following steps: S1, calibrating a camera; S2, shooting digital images of a block on a surface of a breakwater by the camera, and sending the digital images to a digital signal processing system based on a field programmable gate array; S3, carrying out a feature point detection of the block in the images by the digital signal processing system; S4, carrying out a coordinate conversion after the feature point detection; S5, comparing position changes of the feature points of the block before and after a test, making a difference between coordinates of the two images before and after the test to obtain a change value of the feature points, and obtaining a displacement of the block; and S6, displaying displacement calculation results on a data processor.
