Abstract: A high-pressure inflation pump includes a head, a nozzle, a piercing member, and a resilient member. The head includes a compartment, a passageway, and a threaded section. The piercing member includes a base, a piercing portion, and an air guiding hole. The piercing portion includes an annular abutting shoulder for pressing against an end face of a threaded end of a high-pressure gas container engaged with the threaded section of the head, providing an airtight state. The resilient member includes a support end, a pressing end, and a chamber. The piercing member is received and positioned in the chamber without blocking flow of gas in the high-pressure gas container into the air guiding hole, allowing rapid inflation of a tire engaged with the nozzle and allowing the high-pressure gas container to be used many times to save resources.

The valve seat (21) is mounted between a barrel (10) and a base (30) and includes a compartment (213) and a passageway (215) in communication with the compartment (213). The cap (22) is mounted in the compartment (213) and includes an opening (221) in communication with a bore (101) of the barrel (10). The cap (22) further includes a chamber (222) located intermediate and in communication with the opening (221) and the passageway (215). A disc (23) is mounted in the chamber (222) and has a thickness smaller than a height of the chamber (222). A gasket (234) is mounted to a top portion (231) of the disc (23) and has an upper edge located above the top portion (231). The gasket (234) has a sealing diameter (Ac) larger than a diameter of the opening (221) of the cap (22) and larger than a thickness of the disc (23).

An adapter is mounted to the valve seat and includes a channel in communication with the air passageway. An end of a hose is connected to the channel. A coupling seat is mounted to the other end of the hose. A connecting block is mounted around the coupling seat. The connecting block is positionable to a side of the barrel. Two rotary inflation nozzles of different specifications are mounted to two ends of another hose. Each rotary inflation nozzle has a coupling thread for engaging with an inner thread of the coupling seat. When not in use, one of the rotary inflation nozzles is inserted into the barrel, and the other rotary inflation nozzle is engaged with an end portion on the piston rod.

Abstract: A rotary inflation nozzle includes a block assembly seat, a housing, and a cap. A needle tube and a block member are mounted in the housing and the cap and mounted to a front end of the block assembly seat. The block assembly seat includes an end having a receiving section. The block assembly seat further includes an air passageway in communication with the receiving section. The receiving section has an inner diameter larger than that of the air passageway. A limiting section is formed on the front end of the block assembly seat and has an outer diameter larger than the block assembly seat. The needle tube includes first and second engaging ends. The first engaging end of the needle tube is received and retained in the receiving section. The block member includes a central hole. The central hole of the block member receives and is retained in place by the second engaging end of the needle tube.

The cover is pivotally connected to the base, and includes a second connecting portion, wherein when the cover is turned and then the second connecting portion is engaged with the first connecting portion, there is an accommodating space formed between the cover and the opening of the base for accommodating the FPC board, and the first and second connecting portions are adjacent to the position portion, whereby the position portion cannot escape from the accommodating space.

Abstract: A portable air pump includes a tubular body, a barrel, a piston mechanism, a head, and a dispensing head. The tubular body has an upper cover having air inlet holes and a sealed bottom cover. The barrel has an air passage running through it along its axis direction. The piston has a center hole and a through hole, and a check valve is in positioned between the second end of the barrel and the bottom end of the piston. As the tubular body is moved in relation to the barrel away from the head, air flows into the tubular body through the air inlet holes and to the bottom of the tubular body through the through hole. Air is prevented from flowing out through the center hole of the piston by use of a check valve disc. As the tubular body is moved in relation to the barrel towards the head, air in the bottom of tubular body flows into the air passage of the barrel through the center hole, and out through the head and the dispensing head.

Abstract: An inflation device includes a central tube, a first mounting unit mounted onto an outside of a reception end of the central tube and a second unit connected to a connection portion on the other end of the central tube. The first mounting unit includes a first casing and an end cap, and the reception end includes a valve mouth and a core tube received therein. The second mounting unit includes inner threads that are connected with the connection portion. A groove is defined in the second mounting unit and an O-ring is engaged with the groove. The first and second mounting units can be connected with an American style tire valve and a French style tire valve, respectively. The first and second mounting units each have outer threads with the same diameter so as to be connected with a tire pump.

Abstract: A dispensing head for an air pump includes a sleeve connected to the air pump and a chamber is defined in an end of the sleeve. The end having the chamber of the sleeve is received in a housing and a mount piece is securely received in the housing. A first seal ring is mounted to the mount piece and in contact with an inner periphery of the chamber. The mount piece includes a plurality of inner threads defined axially in a central passage in the mount piece, so that the threaded section of a French valve is threadedly connected to the inner threads. A second groove is defined in the mount piece and a second seal ring is engaged with the second groove. The second seal ring is mounted to a neck of the French valve.

Abstract: An inflation nozzle includes a first part having a first threaded passage defined centrally therethrough and a connection ring is threadedly connected to a first end of the first part. An insertion is formed on a second end of the first part and is engaged with a first chamber of a central member which is received in a second part. The central member is connected with a tire pump. The first passage is sized to be connected with a French valve and the connection ring is sized to be connected with an American valve.

Abstract: An inflation nozzle of a tire pump having air sealing function includes a casing, a valve plug seat, a valve plug and a locking ring. The valve plug seat includes a head portion at one end and a groove defined annularly on an outer periphery thereof. A sealing ring is engaged with the groove. The sealing ring protrudes radially beyond the head portion so as to be in contact with an inner circular periphery of the casing when the valve plug is installed in the valve plug seat and the casing is connected with a locking ring. The sealing ring ensures that no leakage between the valve plug seat and the casing.

Abstract: A bicycle tire pump includes a movable connection member connected to the bottle end of the cylinder and the connection member has an insertion rod which is inserted into a tubular member on the base and fixed to the base. The tubular member includes positioning slots for guiding the connection member and the cylinder to be assembled to the tubular member. The pump can be quickly assembled with strong structure and manufactured with lower cost. The connection member and the base are two parts which can be made of different material for different needs.

Abstract: Pump connector for Presta valve is disclosed in which one end of a pump connector valve seal is formed with a hollow chamber, and is disposed inside a space of a cap having a channel. The hollow chamber is assembled with a valve seal insert which includes a through hole. The second end of the through hole is formed with an inner edge corresponding to the shape of the shoulder section of the Presta valve. An end cap is assembled with the cap for preventing the pump connector valve seal from separating from the cap. Accordingly, the Presta valve can be screwed together with a first internal thread of the cap, and at the same time the shoulder section of the Presta valve is tightly fitted to the inner edge of the valve seal insert for direct inflation.

Abstract: An electrochemical test system comprising an electrochemical test strip capable of initiating an instrument, determining if it is inserted into a correct position of the instrument, a sample is injected into a reaction region of the electrochemical test strip, and the sample covers the reaction region properly. The electrochemical test strip includes an insulating substrate, an electrode system, and an insulating layer. The electrode system includes a resistor, a set of measurement electrodes which includes a reference electrode and a working electrode insulated from each other, and a set of identifying electrodes which includes first and second identifying electrodes connected through the resistor. A method for detecting a sample includes the steps of inserting the electrochemical test strip into a measurement instrument, providing the sample in the reaction region, and applying a voltage between the reference electrode and the working electrode, and measuring a current corresponding to the voltage.
