    Abstract: Disclosed herein are polyurethane foams which can be used for reducing or preventing the corrosion of polymeric materials, which can be produced by mixing components (a) at least one polyisocyanate, (b) at least one compound having at least two groups reactive toward isocyanates, (c) optionally chain extender and/or crosslinking agent, (d) blowing agent, (e) catalyst, (f) optionally auxiliaries and additives, and (g) at least one anhydride to give a reaction mixture, and curing said reaction mixture to give the polyurethane foams, where the anhydride is added in an amount of 0.05-5 wt %, based on the weight of component (a). Also disclosed herein are a method of reducing or preventing the corrosion of polymeric materials by using such polyurethane foams and a method of using the polyurethane foams in certain applications, for example, in automotive interiors.

    Abstract: Described herein is a method for joining a first metal pipe with a second metal pipe, the pipes being joined together in an overlapping area by use of a two-component polyurethane adhesive that encapsulates the overlapping area, where the method includes the steps of: (1) applying the two-component polyurethane adhesive onto an inner surface of a fixture; (2) inserting one end of the first metal pipe into one end of the second metal pipe so as to form a pipe assembly having the overlapping area between the two ends, and putting the overlapping area of the pipe assembly into the fixture; (3) closing the fixture such that the overlapping area of the pipe assembly is fixed in the fixture, and such that the adhesive therein encapsulates the overlapping area of the pipe assembly; (4) curing the two-component polyurethane adhesive; and (5) optionally, removing the fixture from the pipe assembly.

The method includes determining one or more objects to be predicted, matching in a historical travel path database for a corresponding predicted path of each of the one or more objects to be predicted, and determining a transmission trend of the infectious disease in the one or more objects to be predicted based on the predicted travel paths. The predicted travel path of each object to be predicted is matched in the historical travel path database thus achieving the effect of reducing the computation amount of obtaining the predicted travel path.
