The semiconductor device includes a substrate, an inner metal layer, a shielding layer, an insulation material, a metal layer, a passivation layer and a redistribution layer. The inner metal layer is disposed in a through hole of the substrate. The shielding layer surrounds the inner annular metal. The insulation material is disposed between the inner metal layer and the shielding layer. The metal layer is disposed on a surface of the substrate, contacts the shielding layer and does not contact the inner metal layer. The redistribution layer is disposed in an opening of the passivation layer so as to contact the inner metal layer.

    Abstract: A method for fabricating a semiconductor device is described. A gate layer, a C-doped first protective layer and a hard mask layer are formed on a substrate and then patterned to form a first stack in a first area and a second stack in a second area. A second protective layer is formed on the sidewalls of the first and the second stacks. A blocking layer is formed in the first area and a first spacer formed on the sidewall of the second protective layers on the sidewall of the second stack in the second area. A semiconductor compound is formed in the substrate beside the first spacer. The blocking layer and the first spacer are removed. The hard mask layer in the first stack and the second stack is removed.

The hard mask layer is removed entirely after a lithography process and an etching process are performed. The following steps include: a material is formed to entirely cover the first gate and the second gate. The material, the first gate and the second gate are etched back to make the first gate and the second gate have the same level and expose layers in both of them.

    Abstract: A system for power management electrically connected to a solar cell is provided. The system for power management includes a photo-sensor, a controller electrically connected to the photo-sensor, and a power manager. The photo-sensor detects an illumination (illuminance or irradiance) of an environment where the solar cell is located. A look-up table of illumination vs. maximum output power is built in the controller, wherein a corresponding maximum output power is determined by the controller according to the illumination detected by the photo-sensor. The power manager is electrically connected to the controller and the solar cell.
