    Abstract: A screw detection device is configured to detect screws and has a device base with a controlling module, a carrying mechanism, a top visual-detection mechanism and a lateral visual-detection mechanism mounted inside. A screw is fed into the device base and is carried on two guide-rail assemblies of a carrying rail of the carrying mechanism. A top visual-detection camera of the top visual-detection mechanism and a lateral visual-detection camera of the lateral visual-detection mechanism take photographs of the screw on the carrying rail. The controlling module determines whether the screw is defective based on the photographs and controls a classifying assembly to discard a defective screw. The controlling module automatically controls the carrying rail, the top visual-detection camera and the lateral visual-detection camera, letting the screw detection device meet different-size screws' detection needs.

    Abstract: An update method for a wireless system of a security system for a vehicle is mainly applied for a vehicle security system to build a two-way connection with a remote host. After the remote host acquires a two-way connection with the security system, new system data is divided into a plurality of packets and sent to the security system sequentially. When the security system has received all of the packets, the complete new system data is taken out to process the system update of the vehicle security system. Therefore, a security system monitored by a remote host is installed in the vehicle. By the remote host processing the system update, the vehicle need not for recall by a vehicle manufacturer, as so to achieve an update objective rapidly and conveniently.

    Abstract: A global positioning system (GPS) having instant notification of vehicle status function includes a GPS satellite signal-receiver module (11), a satellite signal-receiving antenna (12), a checking signal processing circuit (20) and a wireless communication module (30). The GPS satellite signal-receiver module (11) acquires an abnormal status of vehicle message from the checking signal processing circuit (20), and via the satellite signal-receiving antenna (12) receives vehicle position data.
