    Abstract: A method of making a porous three-dimensional graphene mesh includes combining a graphene-containing material and a polymer having a plurality of hydroxyl groups in an alcohol solvent to form a mixture, adding a salt to the mixture, heating the mixture to form a gel, and washing the gel with water to remove the salt from the gel, leaving behind stable pores to form a scaffold. A three-dimensional porous graphene mesh includes a graphene-containing material and a polymer. The polymer is crosslinked with the graphene-containing material such that the Young's Modulus of the mesh is at least about 5 GPa.

    Abstract: A method of making a microfluidic device (200, 201, 300) can include depositing a layer of photoresist onto a first substrate (210, 270, 310), selectively removing the photoresist to expose portions of the first substrate (210, 270, 310), etching the exposed portions of the first substrate (210, 270, 310) to form an array of nano-wells (240, 340), coating each nano-well (240, 340) with metal oxide, and coating the metal oxide on each nano-well (240, 340) with a first material to increase binding of DNA, proteins, and polynucleotides to the metal oxide. A layer of a second material can be deposited on interstitial areas between the nano-wells (240, 340) to inhibit binding of DNA, proteins, and polynucleotides to the interstitial areas. A second substrate (220, 320) can be bonded to the first substrate (210, 270, 310) to enclose the array of nano-wells (240, 340) in a cavity.

    Abstract: A method for preparing semisolid slurry. The method is achieved using a device for preparing semisolid slurry. The device includes a slurry vessel and a mechanical stirring rod. The mechanical stirring rod includes a first end and a second end extending into the slurry vessel. The method includes: S1. putting a molten alloy having a first preset temperature into the slurry vessel; S2. cooling the molten alloy to a second preset temperature, positioning the second end of the mechanical stirring rod to be 5-25 mm higher than the bottom wall of the slurry vessel, rotating the mechanical stirring rod and injecting a cooling medium into the mechanical stirring rod; and S3: allowing the temperature of the molten alloy to be 10-90 degrees centigrade lower than the liquidus temperature of the molten alloy, stopping stirring and cooling, to yield a semisolid slurry.

    Abstract: An approach is provided for generating graph database parameter settings. Parameter settings for importing data into a graph database are determined. A speed of importing simulated data into the graph database and a system resource usage are determined by executing an importing of the simulated data using the parameter settings and a simulated hardware environment. A reward associated with the parameter settings is determined. Using a policy network that includes convolutional neural networks and based on the reward and the settings, candidates of adjusted parameter settings are determined. Using a Monte Carlo tree search in multiple iterations to estimate changes in speeds of importing the simulated data and changes in system resource usages for candidates of the adjusted parameter settings, rewards for the candidates are determined. Based on the rewards, a candidate is selected as including final parameter settings that optimize an importing speed and system resource usage.

For each binary segment of the plurality of binary segments, the apparatus may select an image of a semantic content (e.g., a numeral digit) from a dictionary of images of random semantic contents (e.g., random numeral digits) based on the binary segment. The apparatus may combine the selected images to form at least a portion of a cover image denoting a combination of the semantic contents of the selected images (e.g., a plurality of numeral digits).

A random execution mode based on redundant calculation is employed, and multiple nodes in a network are randomly selected to jointly execute a data analysis logic, thereby realizing trusted computing of an execution result in a relatively distrusted environment and improving an execution efficiency of the smart contract. Meanwhile, by recording the execution of the contract in a process of synchronously calling the multiple nodes, a needed execution record of contract calling is acquired from the node in a latest state and replayed locally when synchronization is needed, so that the random multiple nodes can be quickly recovered when states of the random multiple nodes are not synchronized, realizing high availability of data and satisfying a data analysis scenario with low response time.

    Abstract: A MATZHU is prepared by using leaves of Gramineae (Graminae) and Bambusoideae plant as raw materials. The MATZHU has a stable emerald color and an average powder particle size of 800 to 10,000 meshes. The MATZHU also has a total amount of dietary fiber of ?60%, a content of lignin of ?20% and a content of minerals of ?7%. The MATZHU includes at least three or more bamboo leaf characteristic components, such as orientin, isoorientin, vitexin, isovitexin, adenosine, ?-hydroxylysine and p-coumaric acid. The method for the MATZHU preparation includes, in turn, performing blanching and color protection, drying and superfine grinding the raw materials. The global conditional frequency pattern trees generated by the processing nodes are distributed such that each processing node in the processing nodes has the global conditional frequency pattern trees generated by other processing nodes. Patterns are generated by the computer system. A set of rules is generated using the patterns and the global conditional frequency pattern trees in the processing nodes, wherein the set of rules define the relations between the items.
