    Abstract: A LCD, a backlight module, and a light guiding plate are disclosed. The light guiding plate includes an incident-light guiding portion, a light-emitting portion, and a connecting portion. The connecting portion connects the incident-light guiding portion and the light-emitting portion. The incident-light guiding portion is parallel to the light-emitting portion. The incident-light guiding portion and the connecting portion are arranged at one bending side of the connecting portion, and a lateral side of the light guiding plate is of a folded-back structure. The light guiding plate is configured to be of the folded-back structure. Compared to the edge-type backlight structure, the border and fixing components of the light source may be omitted, which contributes to narrow down the border, or even the border may be omitted. Compared to the direct-type backlight structure, the lens for scattering or uniforming the light beams may be omitted also, which realizes the thin design.

    Abstract: Related to is a method for manufacturing a light guide plate, comprising the steps of: fabricating, on a smooth surface of a mould, a mould insert used to form optical dots of a light guide plate; coating, on the smooth surface having the mould insert, photoresist, to form a photoresist layer; exposing the photoresist layer, to form the light guide plate; and releasing the light guide plate from the mould. The method can be used to manufacture thin light guide plates, thereby improving ductility of the light guide plates, and reinforcing bending properties thereof, so as to promote development of flexible liquid crystal display screens.

    Abstract: Disclosed are a light guide plate, a backlight module of a liquid crystal display device, and a device for manufacturing the light guide plate. The light guide plate comprises a first surface and a second surface parallel with each other, wherein the first surface is formed with parallel columnar projections, and the second surface is formed with light guide ports. The light guide plate has a better light convergence effect compared with an existing light guide plate. As a result, light crosstalk in the light guide plate can be significantly attenuated.

    Abstract: A backlight module for liquid crystal display device and a liquid crystal display device are disclosed. The backlight module comprises a light source circuit and a light guide plate, wherein said light source circuit comprises a control circuit and a plurality of light-emitting units, which are arranged on a lateral surface of said light guide plate and connected with said control circuit, each light-emitting unit being activated or deactivated by said control circuit; and wherein said light guide plate is used for guiding light which enters from the lateral surface, so that the light exits from a front surface. The power consumption of the backlight module according to the present disclosure is lower than the light source circuit of the backlight module in the prior art.
